ooh, lovely. I've not been to PA, think I'll go next time if DS comes with me

yippee, you back at the same hotel Snap?.. I started looking for cheapies there yesterday.. thinking of going back with mum (she's pretty down and i thought it would cheer her up). Would take DS on his plane journey too. The 3* s/c apartments we stayed at in Sept, plus flights and baggage were coming in at £600 but i wanted cheaper than that. Think my expectations are too :money: I wanted everything for cheap, cheap, cheap :rotfl:

I know what you mean...are you looking Ryanair Luton to Reus ??
Don't forget you can take two bags now a decent sized case and a decent size handbag......perhaps just one case if you must......come on this is an mse holiday, lol
Are you looking at whitsun...if so can you do Tuesday to Tuesday after, that is sooo much cheaper ?.....also if you find the hotel on lets say travel republic put it in Tesco compare and see if they can beat it.....don't forget quidco !! (booked a hen weekend earlier this week for dd1 (seven of us) did the whole lot to cala d'or inc all inc and transfers for £82 each (only two nights and three days but hey ho its a jaunt..

They charge me 2p/sim/month......no idea why......:o

I don't have the sims active (gave one to my grandma to use and the other hasn't been activated) but receive confirmation of the bill via the tmobile (now EE) app

Not activated yet? I haven't activated mine - are these clicking up charges? I have always understood PAYG sims had to be consciously activated. If this is not the case there could be many people who got them and have them sitting in a drawer too (like me!'). :( How can you check without activating them? I hit a few with £5 credit from Sun+.

If you are booking flight/ hotel separately then you are a bit early for june.....about six/ eight weeks is good for optimum flight savings.

oh Claire...I'm another that would really recommend Dubai...there is sooo much to do.
We went about 7 years ago whilst there was huge amounts of building work being done but that was partly through our chouce as at the time one son was so into diggers and machinery he thought he had died and gone to heaven...he would sit for hours watching the huge cranes!

water parks are great too...as is shopping...malls of designer stuff but also the souks are really good to experiece things a little more culturally
Dubai also has ski Dubai which is so surreal...skiing on manufactured snow..brilliant!
Although if you do want to have a drink whilst there either try and upgrade to club areas at the hotel(we blagged an upgrade and it was well worth it) where there are some complementary packages on wine and spirits or take your own with you from duty free to enjoy in your room...its very very pricey to buy once there.
We went for 10 days...and I can honestly say we did loadsfrom jeep safaris to dune bashing and camel riding...great fun!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
