I am most likely to be booking a totally un MSE...5 day? ....trip to jumeirah beach in August with DD and possibly Ds2 if he'll have it. there's some good (but still expensive deals) she's 15 and has missed out on years of holidays and really wants to go.......so I might just go for it. I've been cheeky and mailed them and asked if they'll extend the offer they just had on for a night in the burj al Arab, if you book :D you can only ask?
They have already said they have unlimited access to the water park :T:T:T

......now I just have to sort out DS2 trip to Hollywood :o

Bless them, they haven't had a decent holiday for nearly 6 years, I'm trying to sort it out before they leave home! :(

Do it FC, you'll have an amazing time. I've been lucky enough to visit Dubai 3 times and I've stayed at the Burj Al Arab too :D:j They pick you up from the airport in a white rolls royce (apparently they have the largest private collection of "rollers"). Each floor of 8 or 10 rooms has it's own butler. Our "room" was 2 storeys - the bedrooms was up a marble staircase. Be warned, everything is gold and brash and in your face. Dubai doesn't do understated or minimalist:rotfl:

I can also recommend Atlantis the Palm. £30 for 4 beers on the beach though so not MSE :rotfl: Also, Mina-A-Salam. The Wild Wadi water park is fab, you must go there too.

ooh, I want to go back

The 2 for 2.50 had come off the cost of the shopping. Just got to wait to see if the apg picked up the offer or not

yippee, you back at the same hotel Snap?.. I started looking for cheapies there yesterday.. thinking of going back with mum (she's pretty down and i thought it would cheer her up). Would take DS on his plane journey too. The 3* s/c apartments we stayed at in Sept, plus flights and baggage were coming in at £600 but i wanted cheaper than that. Think my expectations are too :money: I wanted everything for cheap, cheap, cheap :rotfl:
