I'm really angry with Sada now for 3 reasons, defo will make the time to complain to HO. I've just checked my C&C receipt properly and these are all the things I've found that I'm annoyed about:
1. Not given me any washing powder for £2
2. Charged me for 3 newspapers but only given me 2
3. Not put my APG vouchers on the order and now they’ve gone from my account!!! :mad:0 -

After you've spoken to a nurse who says they think you need to speak to a doctor who then says they're not happy to prescribe anything without seeing you.
And GP receptionists generally are on a par with god.....or they think they are:rotfl:. Sorry if any of you are nice GPs receptionist but you are in the minority!
I have had exactly the same experience and agree it can be frustrating. However, I suspect that is because we both only ring for an appointment when we really need one!
I bet the receptionists and triage nurses screen out lots of people who have no idea about sensible reasons for requesting a quick (or even a slow) appointment.
You only have to read some of the ridiculous reasons why people have called 999 to see the sort of problems GP surgeries (and emergency services) face, including:
"A young man asked for an ambulance to be sent because he had severe facial bleeding. When the paramedics got there the “facial haemorrhage” turned out to be a spot that he had picked at and that was bleeding."

Nenen you would get the cheapest free so best to split hth xHi Nenen,
As you thought, and as bubbs has said, they will give you the cheapest free, of however many numbers of items you buy.
When this offer is running, I always buy items at the same price, at the same time, maximising the discount. Even if it's a case of doing several little shops at one time, separated on the conveyor belt and paid for separately. Just point out to the SA that you want to pay for each shop, individually.
Thank you both so much for your quick replies.
Arrrrrggghhhh! I'd assumed Tesco would be as good as Boots with working out the 3 for 2 offers - BIG mistake!
I am hopping mad now :mad: because I specifically asked the person on the check out whether Tesco did as Boots do and give every third most expensive item free or whether they simply give the 8 cheapest free out of 24 and she assured me that the till worked it all out to give me the best deal!
I cannot decide whether to return all my 24 items and start again putting them through in the most advantageous groups of three (probably saving around £5 after petrol costs but upping my presence with CS and taking a couple of hours of my precious time and emotional energy) or just chalk this one down to experience.
Does anyone think it would be worth me emailing Tesco to complain or is their 3 for 2 policy on more than 3 items obvious to everyone except me?“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
