I can't believe no-one (Savvybuyer :p) noticed the very first mistake I made on the thread

The post opens with a quote from midwinter but there were no open quote marks!

The very first character was wrong

For example, Walkers Sensations are 99p in M (those that M stocks;)) but are on £1 in A so that's no good. Whereas, on the contrary, for example some Doritos are (soon to be) £1 for T but instead of being £1 are on, something, well...

I can see it's a double quote mark at the beginning but a single quote at the end now, whether or not it was before.:rotfl:

How much is M charging for the ones they don't stock? :p

I've just (well, now more than half an hour ago:eek: (been on here since:eek::eek:)) been compiled my own shopping for Avs M and Avs T (sort of) - you know I now need to sort them out a day in advance so I can then have time for any triggers on the day itself - but I've seen some latest price alerts that (as 'alluded' to above) have alerted me to very significant number of price changes in (or rather for:D) Mr T. So I've been saving those:mad:. No detailed details yet(:rotfl:) as it seems it now takes at least two days till the APG catches up:( but by the time I get to it they will just be coming on:T:T:T.

A few bogo'f's for Mr T, which have different prices in the offer, are going onto Svs T, but some others are now 'buy in T on non-PP shopping' as although they involve branded items they include own brands in the offer and therefore are strictly excluded from the BM scheme (although that is the theory and it could turn out to be wrong in practice).

The information for the BM is collected at midnight each day (did you know that?:D:D:rotfl:) and therefore it should be in the BM earlier than the APG would take, that's if the BM picks the item and details up at all and links it to the branded product sold in Sains. As the prices have been picked up by msm, they should have been (in theory) there on t.com earlier than that and it's a bit after midnight now (although I was checking msm a little prior to, and over, midnight and it's not instantaneous on there). So, with all those caveats (and waffling:(:(:D), I'm now attempting to retrieve Svs T. In that process, items have gone onto Tvs S as well and other things moved around, so let me go and see what's now saved on Svs T and I'll post once the 'goodies' are in the basket:):).

Goodnight aau1, and thanks again for the thread (and the name which I could never have come up with:T:T).

    Svs T
Perhaps a bit disappointing, but here's what I've got. I've gone through what was on my personal saved Tvs S too and moved the odd item to here, due to price changing. There's nothing else that I've found to be very good, but if you find something let me know. (Bear in mind I don't put items that are known to be available in A on Svs T, unless they are excluded from the PG for some reason.)

Perhaps a little too lax - as some of the Sains. Basics items (e.g. the Skimmed Milk) have yet to be checked vs different sizes and prices per unit that may be available elsewhere. I've decided the bakery products e.g. Dr Oetker Baking Powder, McDougalls Crumble Topping Mix etc. are not Svs T as T's 3 for 2 offer also includes own brand items within it. And they won't compare from A as different prices in the offer.

:rotfl:They don't stock the ones they don't stock (strangely enough:p).

I was just trying to make the point that the Sensations that were, or rather are, 99p in M are only certain ones and that there might be some that M don't stock that obviously would not compare on the APG (or T PP for anyone so inclined). I'm sure I could have put this last sentence now a lot more succinctly than I have done! Never mind!:)

    RAMBLE ALERT
[Edit: Only those that M stocks are 99p for M. The others will be N/A. That's what was meant. Note: some that M stocks might be N/A too (or even a higher, incorrect price*) if the applicable price scheme doesn't identify the item and its price in M - but this makes it sound more complicated than it is and suggests it's more risky than it probably is.]

*Or even a much lower one - if that happens and is ever spotted, then fill your boots fifty times over:rotfl:, or otherwise in proportion to how low the incorrect price info. is. Or, in fact, of course a really N/A item might glitch and compare to a really low price (I'm just covering all possibilities now). Or conversely a higher incorrect one - blah blah blah...
