Breaktime :jvanilla_twist wrote: »Have you seen the thread, think it is somewhere in the debtfree wannabes, where you take whichever debt you want to pay off and divide by 100. Then you have a piece of paper with 100 sqares and each time you save 1% and pay off debt you colour in a square. I use same thing for saving for larger purchases. Such an incentive getting to colour in a square its just like a childs reward poster.
Some really good ideas there and I love following everyones stories.

No I haven't but I've been doing that for the last year
I drew a big picture of a house on squared paper and each small square represented £10. I think there was 1,500 squares in total and we finished colouring it I this month :j
It didnt represent our whole debt but colouring it in didn't half make me feel good.
I now have a new picture and tomorrows payment means I'm colouring in a huge amount of squaresI'm so excited about colouring in :rotfl:

I've only just caught on to the roll glitch today (by accident).
Does it work instore? I encountered it doing an online shop today:
3 x ASDA Deli Syle Ciabatta Rolls (2)
.com and MSM say 80p each [multibuy 3 for £1.50 not listed]
(AvM)
3 x ASDA Deli Syle Ciabatta Rolls (2) 2.40 2.37
works out 99p for 3
Yes it works instore!:) These are instore on 3 for £1.50 but I think some show as 2 for £1 and others don't have mbuy online. Those Ciabattas though - I think the other ones that went vs T are better, as M not on v.good offer for those - in effect it's only 27p or so APG.
Alert - sudden change of topic. There is a completely different product in A that I note is on 3 for £2 instore but showing 2 for £1.50 on msm. Therefore 3 for £2 but £1.50 plus full price of one makes them more expensive and then vs elsewhere. Sadly competitor prices are not favourable at the moment - so currently it would work out at more expensive for the 3 than it has been before for one vs half price at a rival. (If you bought 6, would still work out at £4:eek: less £4.50vs £4.50 = 45p APG - still 9p more per item than the half price was.) As soon as any competitor becomes favourable I will be immediately on here jumping up and down about it!! Need 2 for £1.50 to stay online and 3 for £2 to continue in store (it really is 3 for £2 isn't it? If not, maybe £2 GC?).0 -

Thank you to Rose for the cinema codes this morning. We had decided to take the Munchkins to see the Muppet film anyway. so this meant 4 tickets for about £5, instead of £25, thank you!!
Just a quick one with H&M. Many of you know that there is pretty much always a £5 off code, but there is also free delivery but that finishes today.
At the moment they have kids football tops at £2.99 each, and if you play around with the codes and taking stuff out your basket etc, like on previous glitches you can get them silly cheap, but H&M have a habit of cancelling these orders, so if there is something you actually want, its better doing it above board.
So these football tops are £2.99 each, so select 4 tops - not quite national shirts, but pretty close- (I would avoid the france and germany tops, but thats just me) then using the £5 off code (will be on the codes thread) and the free delivery code (this is on the H&M front page when you go to the website) you pay £6.96 for 4 football tops, which is pretty cheap when you know the kids are going to ruin them.

HTH.
Is it free delivery on everything now?
I thought it was only on orders over £50.
