    saving the titanic

I just watched this on clubcard tv.
its about how the engineers on board battled to save the stricken ship. I listened mostly as I was browsing the net. but really enjoyed the film. the engineers managed to keep titanic afloat for an hr and a half longer than expected. so they managed to save many other lives by doing so. keeping power to the electric life boat winches. the lights on titanic were kept running thanks to them up until minutes before she went under. although 1 in 3 (about) on her survived, not one senior engineer survived.
the story is mostly narrated so good to listen to while doing other things on the lappy. :)

That's awesome. I may need to look up clubcard tv.

Pah!! My plans of a nice BM at Sainsburgs were scuppered!! I planned on getting a few Dr. O's, but when at the till, they would only accept 1 voucher  Not fair.

Something worth keeping an eye out in tesc0s is Toblerone. They have ones that are marked up in special valentines boxes. Still full price at the moment, but I cant see them selling many soon.

All my clocks - or as many of them as possible - are radio-controlled. Not primarily because of this reason (although it does help) but because there is only one (exact) time and I just can't countenance clocks that are even slightly out:rotfl: - "it's not accurate":p. I don't have the 'time spent changing all the clocks' problem therefore, but instead, losing an hour (with me being awake and doing things during the night it does make a difference) - I need all the hours I can get. Due to be Monday once again even sooner:(.

(Even so, with my clocks changing, sometimes the pesky things don't do so - or don't do so as soon after the change as I would like, so I end up taking the batteries out and replacing them:rotfl: - they then go searching for the radio signal and then reset - easier though than having to turn lots of clocks manually forward.)
