    saving the titanic
I just watched this on clubcard tv.
its about how the engineers on board battled to save the stricken ship. I listened mostly as I was browsing the net. but really enjoyed the film. the engineers managed to keep titanic afloat for an hr and a half longer than expected. so they managed to save many other lives by doing so. keeping power to the electric life boat winches. the lights on titanic were kept running thanks to them up until minutes before she went under. although 1 in 3 (about) on her survived, not one senior engineer survived.
The chief engineer, Joseph Bell, was born in Cumbria, and recently there has been a successful fundraising campaign to restore his memorial

AAU what is the 15pc off with your current account all about please? Tried to go back but couldn't find it. What did you get with your HOF voucher. I think there is another one in tomorrow's telegraph.

  • Give me a few minutes and I'll take a look and see if I can come up with anything that looks good.
Nothing great that I can see, although hopefully others might find something?

There are several things that should compare £1.50 v £1 A v S so my suggestion is..

Buy as many Shower Shines as you want (in twos) and hopefully they will compare £3 v £2 for every two you buy and you will end up paying 40p each

    or

Buy an odd number of as many Shower Shines as you want and add one other item in the 2 for £2 offer that compares £1.50 v £1 A v S (there are a few) and hopefully everything will still cost 40p each.

As it will now be tomorrow before anyone might try this, please be aware of two things..

    1. You need to check msm/msl in the morning to ensure that conditions still look favourable

    2. SFSB accepts no responsibility whatsoever in the likely event that he has killed yet another glitch..:rotfl:

    Good evening everyone,

    A flying visit again.

Went to Sada tonight and they wouldn't accept my Dr O vouchers, strange as they have done before.

Then went to Tosco as I had a £6 off £40 spend and some PPs to use up. Got 2 x 20 pk Carling which compares nicely and then hopefully £5.20 back for ClickSnap. PP of £9.90 and another £6 off £40, SA was very impressed :)
