Not sure what my next move is, I agree with what you've said. The EA is adamant that they will take no less than £89,400 and at this they will take the house off the market.
Currently there is a shortfall of £4900, I would like them to come down a little but since they've had an offer of £89,400 they are reluctant.0 -
The longer it reamins unsold the better your chances. They may have received an offer of £89400 but that did not proceed did it. Offer £860000

Good point, a friend of mine who is an ex EA and knows the local market suspects I may get another call back today - that would be interesting.0 -
If this is your absolute dream house then I'd offer maybe £88k or £89k if you can afford it. Otherwise I'd go for £86k and then increase in £1k increments, being prepared to lose the house if necessary.0

I'm being distant at the moment - on Monday the house was gone so anything now is a bonus.0
