The information is pretty clear.
Have you looked at returning via a courier? Can be a fair bit cheaper than RM. The retailer cannot charge a handling/ restocking fee when returning under the DSRs.0 -
Saw that but thought we were European.
Only when it suits our purposes to be so.

Our beds are not the same size as our continental european friends0 -
When ordering Online, I had to ring Amara as Postage was added incorrectly and I could not delete.
Could it not have been pointed out that the size was unsuitable?0 -
How would they know it was unsuitable?0

Ignore all this and tell them you are returning under Distance Selling Regulations - end of, all the rest is just chatter. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Agreed. Their T&Cs on their website are pants.
Unless you received alternative info via email or on the invoice that came with the set, then they:
1) Cannot charge you a restocking fee (they can't anyway)
2) Cannot charge you for returning the goods (because they don't make this clear in their T&Cs)0 -

It is further confused by the Scandinavian countries (sometimes !) using yet another sizing system !
IKEA are past masters at confusing everyone on this. Their website says:-
"Select your mattress size (European or Standard sizes)"...................
What is European (continental or Scandinavian) ??
What is Standard - the Wiki article only uses "Standard" when talking about US sizes................
Where does UK & Irish sizing fit in ? or doesn't it ??0 -

Thank you I will call them in the morning!!!0 -
No luck !!
They say DSR Regulations apply only to faulty goods and their Terms and Conditions are perfectly clear.
I told them I disagreed and would never use the site again.0
