Parking Charge Notice - waiting on double yellows

You will hear from N Martin on the rejection to you, you will also have 'I know this car park personally' they will make all kinds of outlandish threats but will eventually get a popla code, or cancellation! If I was you I would put this at the end letter to them.
Please note Mr Whitehouse, I have a receipt of proof of postage for this letter, it's deemed served after two working days.
The reason is to try and ensure they don't try to pull we didn't receive the letter garbage. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

ANPR Ltd are also in the habit of saying in their appeal rejection letter (as rejected your appeal will be) that if you want to appeal to POPLA, you should contact them again. We know and they know this is completely against the BPA Ltd Code of Practice, and that they should provide the POPLA code immediately.
Therefore, if you want to avoid their game of ping pong, it's worth adding to your appeal something along the lines of:
"To avoid any doubt, if you reject my appeal, you MUST provide the POPLA code with that rejection, as mandated by the BPA Ltd AOS Code of Practice. You are not allowed to ask for clarification, or to invite me to ask for a POPLA code, and you know it. Any response from you which is not either an acceptance of my appeal or a POPLA code will result in (yet another) complaint to the BPA and DVLA of your shoddy little company's continued dodgy practices."0 -
Thanks for the help guys, I've added both of those comments to the letter of appeal.0

Afternoon everyone. Here's the latest update...
I posted my appeal to ANPR, as was discussed previously, with proof of postage. I've now received a letter from them, which is basically the same "FINAL DEMAND" invoice that I'd previously received, except with the future cossts i.e.. County Court Summons and Judgement Enforcement officers in amber font rather than grey.
There was no mention of my appeal letter, let alone the POPLA code that I requested. The wording at the bottom of the demand invoice has changed slightly to say that they're poised to pass on the debt to a debt recovery agent.
Is this classed as a response to my appeal letter and I now have to respond again? Or can I ignore it on the basis that they haven't answered my demand of a POPLA code (I used the exact wording that The Slithy Tove suggested)? If I have to respond, what's the time limit on getting my response to them?
Thanks again!0 -
I would complain to the BPA and enclose copies of all correspondence and any proof of posting , due to the fact that this seems to be common to anpr , anpr also believe everything they send out is received , yet nothing sent out by all these vehicle owners is received by them , well its a 2 way street , if they wish to add recorded delivery to their outgoing mail and the same to incoming mail then they should do so , but they cannot have it both ways
so a BPA complaint asap , before any such "court proceedings" , lol (which are unlikely anyway)

I agree - email a quick complaint to the BPA (email addy is in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread). An AOS member has to 'stop work' (including no debt collection demands) while an appeal is considered. Not that Trev's joke of a firm 'consider' anything except their own bank balances and Trev's next hare-brained scheme to fight terrorism! But basically push the BPA to investigate and to ensure you don't have to 'chase' N Martin for a POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks guys
I'll e-mail the BPA to explain what's happened so far, and attach all correspondence.
In the meantime will I need to send anything back to ANPR? I doubt it because they haven't responded to my demand, but I just want to make sure I'm not in breach of any 'time limit' for responding.0 -
Just proves the point about how stupid this firm is, make complaints to the dvla and bpa, say that you have proof that the appeal letter has been sent and they have not replied to that and have sent you further demands in breach of the bpa code of practice.
Also tell the dvla that ANPR Ltd are in breach of their kadoe code of conduct and you expect them to investigate this and not give its a bpa issue, it's not as kadoe agreement is between the dvla and ANPR Ltd and the bpa has no input into that at all .When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
