Well I had 2 BIN's ending today and the rest tomorrow so I let todays and to see if I got charged and they did auto relist and charge 40p each. So I have unticked all my other BIN's even though the wording has actually changed back to say relist for free now! But clearly they are not free, the BIN's are not at least. I do have some auctions on that I hope will still relist for free as they have already relisted once last week for free.
For The ones you have been charged for I would phone eBay and insist on a refund. A lot of people are doing that according to the community boards and eBay are refunding- at least for the time being.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I know I should do but for 80p my time is worth more than that for the phone call and I could do without the feeling like banging my head against the wall from talking to them! If it had been more than 2 I would of course get my money back. I've left the auctions as auto relist and will be phoning about those if they get charged.0

This is still ongoing.
Although the relistngs say "Good news! Your item has been automatically relisted for you for free." you are still charged the listing fee.
From this post on eBay http://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Private-Seller-Board/Why-am-I-being-charged-4-automatic-relist-when-I-clicked-3-free/m-p/2947401#U2947401 it seems you should get a refund by 13th April, when after that this issue will be completely resolved.0 -
I have had the same problem. I had 10 items relisted over the last 2 days and each email I received said
'Good news! Your item has been automatically relisted for you for free'
but each time I was charged 40p. I have just spent the last 20 mins with an on line ebay advisor who tried to tell me that I could only claim the refund when the item sold! then he changed his mind and said that the problem should be resolved by 13 April and I would get refund.
If after this the policy of free relists has changed the it is VERY UNFAIR!0 -
I had some buy it now items on automatic relist for free. On checking my seller account I noticed I had been charged relisting fees.
Just spoke to them and had this reply.I would like to tell you that this thing has been detected as a technical issue on eBay UK site recently wherein the sellers are getting charged an insertion fee when the items are getting relisted. We are aware of this issue and we have been getting numerous contacts on a daily basis from the sellers.
Check your seller account carefully! The more I know about people, the better I like my dogs.

Does anyone know if the automatic relisting is working now? I haven't tried it yet :-)0
-
One of my automatic listing finished last week but that was a 99p one and it didn't come off my quota of 100 listings so I am assuming that was "free". I have done a lot of new ones (over£1) with the automatic listing today so I won't know till next week now if they were free. They should be free, so will have to keep an eye on them.0
