Is it cheaper to buy chips or make them from potatoes? I saw in tescos chips a lot cheaper per kg than potatoes but I wonder if they have got added water.

I just store mine in a storage box outside on a concrete base. They keep for a while and do start to grow eventually but they are usually eaten before that. Either by us or the chickens.
Sometimes I plant one or two that have grown. Not as good as seed potatoes but you get a few from them.
