HELP. I really need help with losing weight over the next 4 weeks. I think I need to tone up big time too. I am getting married and have very skinny bridesmaids - not the best situation in many respects..
Why is it on photos you look so much better when you've shifted a lb or two? Or should I say loads..
Anyway, let me know how you've done it before.
My ideas to-date are:-
Just need a few ideas required..
What worked for you??

My ideas to-date are:-
- Exercise alot more - get to the gym more
- Eat healthy - try to eat more high fibre foods & less calorific food
- Um... can't really think of much else...

You need to aim to eat about 1300 calories a day to see some decent results. As theres only four weeks to go, can you try something like the slim-fast diet??
Don't lose too much mind, as your dress might not fit you anymore, lol! What the Deuce?0

4 weeks isn't very long to see drastic results.
I would suggest following something like the slimming world plan - and follow it to the letter as you don't have time to work out which bits you can cheat on!
Also, you could take some yoga / pilates classes. They will improve your posture rapidly which may have a bigger effect on your photos than the few pounds you have time to lose.
Don't do anything stupid to achive rapid weight loss - its only a day in your life and its not worth making youself ill over. Your H2B loves you the way you are or he wouldn't have proposed!0

have you already got your dress?Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0

silver herbal slimming tablets or the patch - people are losing llbs using these babies0

            don't do anything stupid
if you can afford it get a personal trainer and do a mixture of cardio and weights - weights are the fastest way of losing inches which is what you want more than weight loss.
People look 'fatter' in photos as it's a 2 dimensional plane - so you're taking the widest points of a 3D shape and fixing the image there. But at the end of the day who cares, it's your wedding, you'll look stunning and all you'll care about is whether you had fun so smile lots and don't worry about the weight.0

She magazine has a quite workable/practical low-carb, high protein (not Atkins) diet in Aug mag....it is for 2 weeks and says that you should shift between 6 and 10 lbs. HTH0

Agreed- thirty or more minutes of exercise at your recommended target heart rate six days out of seven, add some press ups, sit ups, tricep work to tone your muscles, but only every second day.
Do a food combining eating plan- lean protein, veggies one day, next day pasta with low fat sauces, more veggies, cut right down on bread-
And get a fake tan done for the big day- it makes you look slimmer- but maybe try it in advance, you don't want to be orange in the pics.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

If you're having a Spray Tan done make sure you go to a reputable place that does the ST in several different grades. St Tropez is one colour and one colour does not suit everyone!!!
Spray tans are fantastic when done properly, get one done a day or so before your actually wedding.0

I vaguely recall something about people having thyroid trouble do slimming patches, I think it was these ones.
My gp says that herbal slimming is a waste of time & money and some can be dangerous, you don't want to end up sick on your wedding day, nothing would be worth that.
Some good advice from Justie & alluro there. I would cut right back on wheat & dairy too (replace dairy with fortified soya milk/yogurts etc).
Good luck, I hope you have a wonderful time no matter what size you are :cool:The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0

They just suppress your appetite with Herbs. I've been selling the last 12 months and everyone loves them. No problems.
Slimming Tablets can't induce Thyroid troubles - but you wont lose weight with them if you have Thyroid issues.
Caffeine is in the daytime ones too - but not the Patches.
their sole ingredient is: Fucus Vesiculosis0
