Original Ordered 2 of these 2 weeks ago.Last week they said the items were 'stuck' in there delivery system.They have now retaken the order but now the same debit card i used originally is being rejected.Funny that plenty credit on it - methinks orange are not telling the truth.Strange how they can debit the card in 24hrs but was advised could take 10 days for refund???
Orange customer services are total crap - all this commitment to customer services blahblah is total s***

same old story, ordered phone, paid £19.99 now told that order has been cancelled as a mistake was made on the price, could take 7 to 10 days to refund money. I have been an orange customer for years, I will never be one again.

I ordered this fone for a tenner (no top up required!) following receipt of Martin's fab newsletter and was told I would receive in 2-5 working days. It didnt arrive so I called and was told they were out of stock and wouldnt be long. Now 2 weeks later and still no fone. Called again but this time told they could not send for that price unless I topped up with 10 credit!!!!

Told them No and demanded refund which will be credited back to my account in next few days.

Orange are rubbish and dishonest as they can't honour what they advertise - AVOID!!!! (P.S. I have had nothing but grief with Orange for last 14 months as a contract customer also - Good to know they're consistently ****!)

ordered my phone for 9.99...came 4 days later. its a bit odd to use but worth 9.99!

Bought today at Asda for £9. Aftering registering sim, received credit of £1 from Orange. This will stay in the car (I have an old motorola car charger) for emergencies as I regularly forget to take my main mobile.

It's basic, well it's not as good as that, but for emergencies i.e. dial in the number it will do.

Do Orange still cut off the phones after 6 months non-use?

I agree with you. It's a nice bit of kit for the glove-box and should form part of all emergency kits along with the 'red-triangle' and emergency light, etc.

I never did get the promised phone but I did finally get a refund. So I bought one of the £9 ones at ASDA.
