I've just ordered this, seems like a great deal, I'm going to use it as a work phone, so i dont have to give out my 'propper' number to people so i wont be bothered at home.

To use this for Orange Wednesdays I will have to go to the cinema twice for the phone to pay for itself, so all in all a great deal.

Also has anyone else noticed the photo of the phone on the website shows it with a full colour screen, surely this will lead to complaints by people! False advertising!

Does anyone know off the top of their heads how long i will have in between top ups before I can use the phone, i.e. will I have to top up each month to keep it going etc?

Why not spend the extra £5 and get a decent phone?

Quite right, just checked, the top up option does seem to have changed however to a pull down menu. There must have been a small window of opportunity when the top up was not required, glad I ordered then.

The £20 off phones over £30 is still working though.

Thanks but when I go to checkout it shows my selection to be the Nokia 1600 at £29.99 inc top up when Im trying to order a different phone = is it me or is everyone having this problem using this code? x
  • It's a bit misleading showing a colour photo on the screen!

It's actually a calculator like display.

The phone needs to cost more than £30 to get the £20 off. So you are opting for a £19.99 phone + £10 top up, whereas you could opt for a £39.99 phone such as the Nokia 6070 +top up and then get £20 off. So better phone for the same money. There are a few phones in the £35 -£40 bracket which are worth having.

I went to bed after my last message (had to get up for school run bleurgh!). Yes I was aware of the above £30 condition so opted for a £34.99 Motorola. It shows in my basket but at the end, at checkout it shows the cheap Nokia

The MOTOFONE F3 from Motorola is simple, functional and fashionable.

Normally you need to but a £10 top-up with these PAYG phones however that requirement seems to have been dropped just now so the phone is only £9.99 delivered.
