Send 1st class with a COP - it will be deemed served (delivered) 2 days after posting. (Interpretations Act 1978).

also tried logging into the popla website. Just to see how the submit form works, but not to submit yet !!

Comes up with this .. Which is really annoying as now i need to post for another £1.60

    Upload Evidence

Verification number invalid - please re-enter the code. If it is not recognised please contact the operator who issued you with the verification code.

You can't 'upload evidence' until you've used the code to lodge the actual appeal. This is discussed on loads of threads. Your code is NOT invalid.

That's a good POPLA appeal now, just send it online and wait to win!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just got a email with attachment back from popla, included below. Is this normal behavior and with the same kind of time frame etc?

What does it mean about hearing etc?

Still looking likely to win? And out of interest, what happens if the appeal is declined?

    ** March 2014
    Verification Code: ******

    Dear *****

    ParkingEye Ltd

    We have received your appeal.

This will now be sent to ParkingEye Ltd. The operator will send their evidence
to us and to you before the scheduled date of hearing.

Your appeal will be considered on or soon after ** May 2014.

You will be notified of the decision as soon as it is available, in the manner you
    selected.

'Hearing' is a bit misleading as they won't be literally 'hearing' from you or ParkingEye in person(s).

Of late, PE have not submitted any evidence when faced with a forum assisted appeal or one where 'no GPEOL' has been built into the submission, thereby losing by default.

Whilst no one can guarantee your success at POPLA, it's probably better than 100% - so do the math (as they say!).

Any POPLA decision is binding on the PPC, but not on the RK or driver - but that's a bridge to cross a long way away; put it out of your mind.

    Come back with result.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Who wants to bet that parking eye will send nothing too popla ? OP come back with the wording from popla please, it will basically say that the operator hasn't submitted anything.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
