Wow it's been a while since I posted!!!!

Stuff has happened, our sofa's are horrible, and the springs stick through the bottom, it makes you lean inwards and it's been making my leg hurt.
So we made the decision to take out a 0% purchase card and buy a new sofa :) we went sofa shopping on the last bank holiday and found a lovely sofa we all love, so we bought a three seater and a two seater with a large footstool, it was half the price we had thought it would be/were willing to pay
So we decided to also buy paint (the room has been desperate for painting for years) new light fittings, and a new tv stand (our current one shows up the dust and you can see the wires, so we got one which hides everything and doesn't show up dust lol)
Its another six weeks till it comes tho waa!!! can't wait to have the room all done out :)

16 sleeps till our holidays and
    25 sleeps till hanson :)

    I can't wait!!!! xx

Hey everyone, we just got back from a fabulous holiday to Center Parcs :) we all had a total blast, it's given us the holiday bug though lol
We are going to see if we can swing a holiday abroad next year, we are thinking Spain/Majorca/Portugal something like that, from first looks its looking likely to be £2000 ish for a villa for 2 weeks and flights, would need car hire too, but all the flights aren't out for next year yet, so some of them are still showing as quite expensive

I've just updated all my totals, slightly depressing as it has gone up, but we were desperate for new sofa's and the sitting room now looks amazing now it's been decorated, and I no longer feel like crap looking at it. It will be on it's way back down now (the debt) so it's all good :)

    Hope everyone is ok xx

    Hi everyone

Sorry I am so quiet at the minute, I have been enjoying the sun, and have been doing a lot of gardening, all the things I have planted are coming along well :)

When I moved some cards around the other month I ended up moving some cards which have a much higher minimum payment (oops) so there isn't much leeway in each month anymore with the money, and as a result the cards are getting at least £750 a month just in the minimums, so what we have decided to do, if we have any spare at the start of the month (so far July is looking like we will have £17) then I will move that to the holiday fund account, and the amount that I used to overpay each week from the shopping I will move to the holiday account, we really want a holiday next year, and I do think £750 is a lot of money to be paying off the CC's as it is each month?

I hope everyone is getting along well :)

Oh and the sofa's are finally being delivered on wednesday yay

    Speak to you all soon

Making our total for the year so far £5739.91 yay :)

The weather is utterly miserable here!!!!! I have gotten drenched twice on school run, I have one more school run to do, then we are going to visit son's new school (he's moving to middle school) and his teacher

I have finally figured out how to crochet!! I've been wanting to do it for years, so I am really happy.

Our sofa's came yesterday I am in love with them, the sitting room looks amazing now it has been decorated and we have new sofas

I hope everyone is having a good day xx

Afternoon everyone, sorry for the quietness.

Things aren't 100% great at home at the mine, OH is mentally poorly (he had a big, and I mean big breakdown 4 years ago) and his Anxiety/Depression is rearing it's ugly head again, on the plus, he has spotted it way way way earlier than last time, and took himself straight to the drs, so fingers crossed he feels better soon.

I had a rough week last week, stressed with OH being unwell, and I was really missing my friend so much, when I cried it hurt so bad, it felt like I felt when I first found out she was gone, can't believe it's been 6 months :(

I am feeling ok today, think it didn't help it was hormone central last week, so I am back to my kick !!! strong self today.

Kids have broken up from school now, they are off for 7 weeks, me and OH are off from friday for 2 weeks. We have flamingo land planned (got tickets via work for 60%) and we will likely go to cinema as we have 6 free tickets via bank account, and OH got a vue giftcard which we can use for food/sweets when we go, other than that it depends on the weather what else we do for our fortnight off.

Still paying the debts off, so that's still going down (just not any extra for a while yet)

Getting a small bonus from work at the end of July so I will use that to buy the school uniforms, my daughter starts full time school (where does time go) so I have 2 full unfiforms to buy (pe kits etc)

That's all for now :) have a good day xx
