And Hanson have sold out their gig on the day of release!! That's exciting!
they don't normally sell out that quickly, so it's gonna be a mint gig, can't beat it when a venue is full

Not much going on here, just chores etc, @sda have been, so I have just overpaid te$co with £20

DS has swimming this afternoon

Poor DD has a cold she's feeling sorry for herself

The weather is awful here, raining, and it's that horrible drizzle rain that drenches you

Good afternoon all

Hanson have added a second date (the next night) to London, so that's exciting, kinda gutted I had already booked trains lol cos I could have gone to both! Nevermind lol I am excited for the one 11 weeks and 2 days to go!! Whoop

Not long till our Centre Parcs holiday as well!!! 10 weeks and 1 day for that really need to get sorted though and book activities, I want the kids to do go karting, and OH wants us all to do pottery painting, and I would like us to do ten pin bowling.

DS did a thing called clip and climb for his birthday and both him and DD loved it, so I am going to have a look at the tree climbing things that they have there and see if I think they will be able to do it, if not then I will see if there is something else, I don't want to overbook us with stuff, cos both my kids love just being in forests with their scooters so lots of walking and playing in the forest will be good

Oh and I got mine and OH's tickets for the walking dead convention 2018 just need some guests to be announced now lol

Home insurance renewal time in April, I couldn't find one much cheaper than the renewal, so I have stayed with my previous company, but I had enough in savings to pay it in one go rather than monthly (like last year) so I have paid for that already.

Need to do a couple balance transfers in April, I hate this lol, I hate all the bouncing and waiting for things to settle, but once it's done obv I will be pleased

OH is working late so just gonna get the kids to bed soon, then have a bath and wait for him to get home, will probably do the food menu for the week and then the shopping list ready for me to order online tomorrow

Not much going on today, @sda order done, should have about £10 leftover to pay off a CC, then I can update the POAMAYC thread as that will be the last payments for this month.

Need to go pick up DS from school in 20 mins, and I have managed to get both kids a hair appointment straight after school.

It's really sunny here, it's lush!!!

Once I am back home and kids have had their tea I am going to sort out a plan of CP, and then book the activities!! Need to get it sorted lol

Good morning all

@sda has been, I don't have anything to overpay as I remembered late last night I needed packed lunch things for my son as he has a school trip this week.

Been updating my spreadsheet forecasting the year to come, it's tight some months as I have moved two cards which had a combined minimum of £50 to one card which has a minimum of £130 (oops lol) but on the positive it means it will go down quicker lol

I expect us to have a slight increase in wages for both of us at the end of April pay (due to tax code increase) and I am hoping OH is getting an actual wage increase, and I am due a wage increase of about £20 a month on the end of July pay. So I am sure it will all be fine in the end lol

All my statements are in for March and we have paid off £864.59 (off the debt and the mortgage) so I am very happy with that

DS has swimming this afternoon, other than that I am not sure what we are doing

I need to sort out my cross stitch threads, which is boring, but needs to be done soon cos they are all over the place in the house and I am losing track of which ones I have (there is nearly 500 threads to be had)

Well done on the continued debt busting. I love catching up on your thread - you're doing great!

And I love that you get so excited about Hanson! I actually had to look them up to make sure there was only one group called Hanson and they were the ones I remember from years back!

OMG I love Hanson so much lol, been a massive fan since 1997, i've traveled all over to see them live, all over UK, Miami, New York, Bahamas, Paris, just love them lol, even have a Hanson tattoo 9.5 weeks till I see them

Not been up to loads, however it was a big day yesterday, I met my dad for the first time in 20 years, I went with my brother to meet him (my brother hadn't seen him for 34 years) he came over from Spain (where he lives) to see us. We are meeting him again today and going for a carvery lunch, he is meeting our OH's and kids. I do talk to my dad most days on facebook (he found me on there a few years ago), so it wasn't super awkward but I was still really nervous.

Anyhoo, @sda came later last night, so I have just overpaid te$co with the extra money of £15.58, I need to do some BT's in a couple weeks.

It's DD's 4th birthday next week, she is having a party on the saturday, currently there are 18 people going so looking like it's going to cost £117, we've already paid £20 deposit so just under £100 to pay, need to get some banners and ballons for the house and a cake for the party, and a candle.

Then the weekend after I am going to help my mam clear out her greenhouse cos she is giving it to me!!!!!! YAY SOOOOO happy about that, I've wanted one for years but never had the money, she is buying a glass one (this has plastic panels, metal frame) so I can have her old one, it's 6 foot x 6 foot, I can't wait!!! So then will get OH to take me to garden centre (as I am too late to grow most things from seed this year I think) and I want to grow tomatoes, peppers and strawberries, and possible corn on the cob.

Afternoon all

How has everyone been?

Just been updating my spreadsheet, spent a little too much the weekend my dad was over, so it's a weeny bit tight the rest of the month.

DD has her birthday party tomorrow, 22 kids are coming so far and it's pay per person eek lol so I am looking at about £110 to pay tomorrow (already paid £20 deposit) I have that money though.

Kids break up for easter today, I couldn't get any time off work so I am just off my usual thursday and friday, but they are with their grandparents mon-wed so will be having trips out with them, then good friday I have booked (and already paid for thank god lol) for them and OH to clip and climb (where DS had his birthday party they loved it!)
Then we get 6 cinema tickets free with our bank, so the thursday after easter monday I am taking them to see the Smurfs (so just need snacks which I will get from £land before we go in) then the friday we are off to soft play to meet some people which is only £6 which I am sure I can find

Still really really hopeful that OH get's a wage rise on the end of this months pay, just have to wait for it to hit the bank to find out (he is rubbish for looking things up for me lol)

I've taken out a free trial of amazon music unlimited, omg I love it so much!!! I want it forever and I want a Echo Dot!!! thinking I will use my birthday money (july) to buy a year subscription (£79.99) and a Dot (£49.99) on my days off, I have music on from 8am-6pm, it's fab being able to put pretty much anything I fancy on, I haven't come across anything that I wanted to listen to and haven't been able to

Just done BT from two cards to one, it said it takes three days, probably won't start till monday, so I will check on the progress of that next thursday

Morning all, how is everyone doing?

We are off to clip and climb with the kids today and will be treating us all to Chippy for tea (it is good friday, so no meat today)

The weather isn't looking the best so I am pleased we are doing indoor stuff

Me and DD planted some of our seeds yesterday, we have planted sweetcorn, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers and courgettes, and I also have potato's chitting. We get my mam's old greenhouse tomorrow so I am very excited about that, I have the seeds in windowsill propagators at the minute, I hope they grow lol

I need to get in touch with Quidco, I upgraded $ky internet and was due to be paid £60 in march but it's not there, it's showing as tracked, but not payable. I want my money!! lol

Me and my friend (Hi CAFC if you are reading) have challenged each other to listing 10 ebay things by the end of April and I've not done one yet lol so I need to get a shift on!!!

I took delivery of a free hello fresh box yesterday one of my friends had a link where 3 people could get a box for free, I can't wait to try the recipes/food out

Morning everyone

How is everyone doing?

I've just been updating my spreadsheet as all our figures are in for April, we have paid off £849.39 (debt and mortgage) so am really pleased with how it's all going

The courgette and sweetcorn seeds that me and DD planted have shot up!!!! Can't believe how quick they have grown, I need to get some bigger pots, I didn't expect them to grow so fast, can't go today (no money lol) so will have to go thursday (OH payday) and hope they are ok in the pots they are in for now, it's hard though cos it's still too cold some mornings for them to be outside (we are still expecting frosts up here) so I am running out of space for them to live in the house till they can go out lol

Got in touch with Quidco, who were awesome, as $ky have confirmed it they've paid me out of their money, and they will recoup it from $ky

OH's car insurance is due for renewal, the renewal has come in at £160 more than what we paid this year, did a comparison search and then direct on their sites (as sometimes they are different) and can you believe it his current insurer is coming up cheapest and at £170 cheaper than the renewal they have sent!!!! Shocking that is! So I am going to get OH to ring them and ask them to price match, seeing as it's their quote!!

Loved the hello fresh box that we had, we fell in love with one recipe called Singapore Chicken Laksa, so that's back on the menu this week

And I listed 27 items on ebay yay they end on monday night, I have bids on 9 items for about £30 so that's not too bad, I will be keeping the money for spending money for Centre Parcs we go in 39 days eek!!!! I've paid for all the activities and paid £20 deposit x 2 for two evening meals, so it's just spending money and food money we need.
