Hey everyone, how are you all doing?

Tried the kids uniforms and shoes etc on today, annoyingly the cardigans for DD are sooooooo big! I didn't want to buy the 3-4 ones (she is 4.5) as her 3-4 jumper from last year is getting small so it would be a waste of money but we took her to the shop and the cardigans are a bit bigger, so have bought her 2 of the 3-4 cardigans, the ones we already have will keep for when she grows lol

Then I labelled it all, (I use stikins they are amazing), packed their PE kits in their PE bags, and we are not long back from the hair dressers where they had their hair cut, so they are all ready for school next wednesday.

Just redone my spreadsheet to take off the four cards I am/have paid off with my two new ones etc

I am buzzing to get going again (my mind hasn't been on it, I've had (still have) a lot of things going on) it's going to be awesome!!!

Have a good day all xx

Morning, you are doing really well, that's a fab amount off your total! Well done on getting the new cards too, not having that interest will help so much in getting another chunk off, and you won't have to worry about those now for a while.

I've done most of the uniform shopping, but I've left the worst till last today - shoes!

Thank you for stopping by DSL :) I'm very pleased with the cards :)

DS had his swimming lesson today and he only went and got his 25m badge!!! Woo hoo, he's nailing it!! Can't believe he has got a badge every week for the last three weeks, so so proud of him.

He is having to change teachers as his current teacher for the last year is no longer working Saturdays so he got her some flowers and a card and a little minecraft figure (as he's always talking about minecraft to her) and when we got there, she had got him a present!! I was so shocked! She said she has loved teaching him so much, she got him some sweets and a minecraft book and a minecraft card game, he was over the moon, it was really sweet. Xx

Afternoon all, busy morning here, I suddenly came down with a cold on friday night, ended up sneezing all night and not getting much sleep, and of course we didn't have any medicine in!! So got some yesterday and took some last night before bed, totally wiped me out cos I didn't wake up till 10am!! I never sleep in that long, OH was gonna come check I was ok lol

So had to rush around to get the washing done and the beef stroganoff in the slow cooker (first time making so I hope it is nice)

Then we went to my nephews 3rd birthday party, which was fab, the kids loved it, we not long got back, the beef smells lush lol

Haven't had a chance to look at my surveys yet, but I will do once kids are in bed, I have 50 points so I will be getting £2.50 at least depending on what surveys I get today if any.

I have transferred the leftover shopping money to our holiday 2018 spends account of £13.38, plus the £90 we are able to save nearly each month, so the spends account currently stands at £103.38, I am hoping to save at least £1000 we are going to be hiring a villa, so we are self catering, we are planning on lots of BBQ's :) we have 11 paydays till the hols (we haven't booked yet as all the flights aren't out yet so we need to wait for them all to be out then the prices start coming down)

I hope everyone is having a good day xx

The kids are back to school tomorrow, I am so not ready for it :( I think I am finding it harder this time as DD starts full time school (she isn't full days till friday though) I am gonna miss them so much :(

I have just loaded DS lunch card with his lunch money for the month, its £11.50 a week so I have loaded £48 (£12 a week) cos I have told him he is allowed to buy a milkshake/bottle of pop as a treat from the tuck shop on a friday.
He had three years of free dinners from reception to year 2 so this is the first time I've had to pay for dinners lol
I know packed lunches *may* be cheaper, but I didn't want to do them as I wanted him to have hot food, plus the packed lunch rules are super strict so I would struggle as he is super picky lol
DD is going into reception so her lunches are free for three years.

I hope you all have a good day xx
