    Morning all

Wow it's been TOO Long since I posted on here!!!

Thinks are still going well here, pleased that we have paid just over £4000 off the debt this year (will be about £5000 by new year's eve). I will try harder to pay more next year though as I want it to go faster than that!!!

Getting all ready for christmas, nearly got everything in ;) just waiting for black friday to see if they reduce the perfume and some lego dimensions sets that I am after, I have been wrapping while kids are at nursery/school so I am ahead of the game there lol

MY friend recommended me to a PPI company so she would get a £20 voucher for recommending me, I didn't think I had ever had PPI, so just did so she could get the voucher, anyway, turns out CP1 added it to my account without my knowledge, and I've had a payment of £55 from them (better than nothing lol) and York$hire Bank also had PPI on my loan and CC I had back in 2000 ish so I am waiting to hear from YB, but the upshot of that is I have referred people (mam, Aunty etc) so I have already had £60 amazon voucher from the company, and I am waiting for payment for 3 more referrals so another £60 vouchers AND once you refer 5 you get a bonus of £50, so I am waiting for £110 in vouchers from them woo hoo, I am hoping they are here before black friday but if they aren't it's not the end of the world as I will use them for the kids birthday's (March and April)

Have a good day all xx

Ooh what's the company ? How much detail, did you have to give them ?

Its a company called Fair Trade Practice, my friend gave them my mobile number (that's how I refer people too) then Amelia rang, and she just asked about what cards/loans/mortgages I had had, then she sent me forms to sign, and I had to send them back and that was it, phone call lasted about ten mins, painless prcess really :) xx

Good afternoon everyone, I hope everyone is well.

Loads of drama going on here! Had to take an overdraft out for The car repairs, then on Monday night there was a massive storm and loads of rain was coming in above our patio door, have to say it broke me down into tears, I was prior to that feeling awesome cos most the Christmas shopping was done, and it meant we could have a nice December with treats on the shopping, even perhaps a meal out, so for the rain to come pouring in on Monday it just broke me.

OH took the Tuesday off for and him and his dad spent hours fixing it, and they see, to have fixed it for now, but we will at some point next year need to budget in for a new lintel above our patio doors.

Then when I got home from work on the Tuesday night I had a letter from York@hire back and they agree I was miss sold PPI, so I am going to be getting a cheque in the post in the next 28 days! My amount after taxes etc is £620. I could have cried with relief, someone was watching over me that's for sure, which means we will start 2017 on an even keel and not having to try and pay back the overdraft from the tyres etc

I finished off my Christmas shopping today :) and I've got 99% of it wrapped as well, I will do the rest this week when DD is at nursery and DS at school

I also had a Christmas splurge and got a company in today to clean my oven, was £40, and was the best £40 I've spent lol

I hope everyone is having a good day xx

Hello everyone, how are you all doing????

Did you all have a fab Christmas? we've all been loaded with cold but thankfully were ok on Christmas, I am just getting over it now.

We had a great Christmas, we were all thoroughly spoiled, it was great, I am looking forward to 2017, I have the walking dead convention in March and we are going to Centre Parcs in June :) so that's all good.
Just been announced that the guy who plays the Sheriff and the guy who plays Norman Bates in Bates Motel is going to the convention, my mam LOVES the sheriff (I like him too, I liked him in lost as well) so I am going to try and get a personalized autograph of him for mam's birthday (which is in may)

Is everyone ready to kick 2017 !!!?

I am looking forward to some big overpayments this year (hopefully lol) I am letting Christmas and New Year settle before I send over this month's big payment. But I am back on the weekly ones after the shop, they have been today and I have £8.88 to overpay, so I am sending that over now.

I hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve whatever your plans are, we are staying in, I will likely be in bed way before midnight as well lol, I don't "do" new year really xx

    Hi all

I hope everyone had a good New Year.

I was awake at midnight but was in bed waiting for it to be midnight then I went straight to sleep lol

We were at mam's yesterday with all the family for a New Year dinner which is basically Christmas Dinner again, it was lovely :)

Kids went back to school/nursery today which sucked, I've really missed them, we've had a good time off and the holidays have gone too fast!!!

Me and OH are off to Ikea tomorrow for a couple of units, then will tidy all the toys away that the kids got, and probably take the decorations down on thursday, we are both off work till next monday. xx
