Ebay promoting the selling of fake goods.

I just returned the item recorded mail at the request of Ebay Resolution Centre messages.
I did report the seller's new listings of the fake products together with the proof that the items are fake. But Ebay are just ignoring the information and the listings continue. Like I previously stated "Ebay promotes the selling of fake goods"!0 -

Perhaps a phone call would have been a good idea as alykatz said. I imagine the ebay resolution centre messages are automated.
It's not so much that they promote it, more that they want members to make an effort when they buy fake goods to ring them and prove without doubt it is fake. Otherwise they have the issue of people claiming items are fake just to get a refund and free item.0 -
A couple of months ago, I had a very similar problem.
I bought a watch and when it arrived it was the most obvious counterfeit product I've ever seen in my life and despite providing ebay with many photographs of the watch and pointing out to them the exact wording of their "guarantee""If a buyer suspects that an item is counterfeit and there are strong indicators
that the item is counterfeit, the buyer isn’t required to return the item to the seller. The buyer agrees to cooperate with us to ensure the proper disposal of the item"0 -
If you suspect an item of being counterfeit/fake contact Trading Standards. TS will give a report that you can forward to Ebay for a refund without return. They are also likely to investigate the seller who can then face prosecution.
I suspect Ebay never check unless they are forced to, presumably many buyers claim fake when they don't want something..0
