Six inches of hair decluttered, I feel about a stone lighter! DS1 is skyping noisily with school friends in his bedroom, it's no wonder he has earned the nickname Foghorn Leghorn, he is so loud!
Had a big phone chat with DD this morning, she is 15 todayFeels very strange to be separated from my first born on her birthday but she was duly spoiled at the weekend and I know she's having a lovely day.
Need to drag the boy away from his lappy to nip to Screwfix in a bit, DBIL has found a gadget that will hopefully help to clear out our perpetually blocked kitchen drain. I'm looking forward to being utterly disgusted by the sludge that emerges.
Everywhere needs a good tidy and a quick vac but that aside we're not shaping up too badly here this week. I haven't even accumulated too much washing thus far!0 -

Is it wrong that I'm disappointed with the sheet lack of gunk my new plumbing gizmo dislodged?!
DS2 collected, sink poked and prodded, ubend reattached and a big bucket of strong soda solution sluiced. Making risotto for dinner so I best get chopping.
Hope the interview goes well mummyroysof30 -
Dentist appointments decluttered (relatively) painlessly, spare parts for loo and TD acquired and various spendaholic urges resisted.
However, couldn't resist fresia and lily of the valley bulbs, raspberry roots, various tomato seedlings, geranium plugs (by request for OH), yellow flowery-type things (ditto), grass seed for patching dog-type bald bits in the shared garden (and some whoopsied wild flower seeds to mix in) and six herblettes for moi.
I'll have to roll up my sleeves and start shoving some of that in earth relatively quickly because everything's already growing here.
Good luck for the interview, Mummyroysof3.Better is good enough.0 -

I'm a little bit concerned - you lot don't seem to be working NEARLY hard enough to pick up the slack from those of us who cannot fly!

Evening flyladies.
Good luck with the interview mummyroysof3
Helen - you've achieved a lot today
Unlike me:
Morning before paid stuff spent helping DD write resignation letter (because of posivibes from flyladies and the fact she is fantastic, she got the new job she wanted)
Then paid stuff and waiting around for workmen who never turned up
After paid stuff, just making dinner and washing up. Even the dogs only got one walk today.
And tomorrow I am planning to have a lie in till 7 as I am just worn out for some reason.
See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0
