Not much flying done this morning... DH made me go windscreen wiper shopping!! Apparently we don't do much together.
He has now gone to work and I have emptied airer and folded, sorted all underware from yesterdays drying and found the living room floor.
Off to fetch ds2 and will get dinner ready and start in the kitchen before fetching dd2&3 an hour later.

Sorry but this made me :rotfl: DH is so excited that it's almost cricket season so I can come and watch him play. My enthusiasm is not quite so palpable. I should make him come to Boots and watch me choose a new foundation to put it in perspective. At least when he's drumming I can listen to some decent music and have a cider!

Speaking of which, he is out banging his pots tonight so I'll get some quality time in with the boys :) Dinner will be prepped presently and the last load of washing for a few days (did one at MILs last night) will be taken off the airer and ironed later.

DS1 is off tomorrow for the teachers strike, I'm getting my hair chopped off. I've persevered with growing it to shoulder length but it's unmanageable and MENTAL.

DS has just rung in a right state. His insurance company have admitted liability when he doesn't think he's at fault. Is there anything he can do about it?

All my own list accomplished today, and I'm no longer submerged in a rising sea of paper in the study bedroom :)

Thanks for a very pleasant hour, FBO!
  • Hi all

Full day at work today (11am-7.45pm), so just a quick clean and tidy of the fridge for me this evening. Tomorrow and Thursday are half days (well till 3pm really) so hopefully I can get a bit more donw then. I'd really like to start tackling the spare room.
