Have you considered holland? As I child I went to dunreil (hope I spelt that right! It's inwassanar) anyway my parents always picked there as it was tight budget friendly and has great facilities on sight for kids and the swimming pools/flames and what not. There isn't a hotel as such, but there is a dungalow which is like a chalet and other options, might be worth considering£0.00/£2014 saved!

Also I always find, it you go into travel agents armed with printouts for on line holidays they will usually find you something similar and for a better price, you can always haggle extras into it too!£0.00/£2014 saved!

If you look on www.hotukdeals.co.uk you will find a poster there by the name of SunshineStacey. She posts some of the most amazing bargains albeit some of them are to leave immediately. Of course, not everything she posts suits everyone, but it is definitely worth keeping an eye on her posts. Sally
I was just going to suggest this.
Some of the deals she finds are amazing - can't wait to book one in the near future!0 -
Remember you have to take your child out of school of 5 consecutive days before you can get a fine. So if you are happy to go a few days before end of term Or come back a couple of days after the start of term you won't get fined. Not ideal I know:(0

Another vote for Majorca! Or other parts of Spain.
I do love Turkey too - and they're great with kids over there.
Ibiza as you mentioned would also be a fab choice from what I've heard - although haven't been myself.

We went to Es Cana - quite a long time ago though, but it was lovely, and would have been fine for families.
Just thinking though, will your budget include enough for incidentals - you might want to see something of the destination you go too, so there might be a need for ice creams and drinks on a day out, not to mention things like coffee at the airport, stuff like that.Early retired - 18th December 2014

I hope your cats had a nice holiday too though, or was the hotel cat-friendly?

Sorry about this OP, I seem to have a stalker.
They do say you know you've arrived when you have your own personal stalker. Bless.:rotfl:0 -

I'm guessing flying from London (there will be other options available) but:

641 for 8 days all inclusive to Els Pins hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza with kids club.
Transfers are 61 for the 4 of you
Totals 1141.92
Or can go for 5 days on 24th to 29th August for 109.71 x 4 = 438.84 for flights:

61 transfers
Would bring it to 944
There are other places so it just depends where you fancy going. But try this for flights:

We went to tunisia last year and loved it - so much that we are going back again this year. We stayed in yasmine hammamet so the flight transfers were quick, the flight was less than 4 hours I think and it was incredibly cheap. It isn't my usual type of holiday but to have sunshine, a pool and a private beach within a 5 minute walk of the hotel it was bliss for chilling out.
Or Hammamet itself be equally as good, DD (shes now 11) loves Hamamet been out there 4 times now.
31/4 hr flight, less than an hr transfer. Def worth doing all inclusive a frees up money to get out and about. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
