I think this is the best SIM only 12 month deal for Ovivo refugees

Might depend when you signed up but all the current SIM only deals on Tmobile do not allow tethering unless you purchased a booster pack per month.I was told by tmobile before I signed up that tethering is allowed on any sim only that has limited allowances. So my contract has a 1gb allowance & can be tethered ( & I have regularly) . They do not allow tethering on their UNLIMITED plans. Also three have limited their tethering on their new unlimited plans to 2GB per month now as well .
Note that not allowing tethering and it actually being able to tether are two different things unless you're using an iphone which won't be able to tether without that feature being made available by Tmobile.
They'd be able to detect tethering using deep packet inspection, whether they do this all the time on only on heavier data users I don't know. A tethererd PC will be requesting data that isn't typical of an android phone and that's what presumably triggers an alert.

A little further reading suggests that Kitkat versions of Android now 'helpfully' send a little flag to the network to say when it's being used as a hotspot/tethering. That's just dandy

How about this one

Look at the T-Mobile one it can be got for under £3 a month wit network cashback, Imutual Cashback, if you don't want the phone sell it (worth £10 even if sent to Envirophone) for another bonus.
100 mins/unlimited text/1gb data same cost on the 321 plan (assuming say 100 texts a month and you use all the mins and data) £15.
Looked at this before I got the Three sim working.
Risks are that the cashback does not get paid and that you pay more upfront to get it back later.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
TalkTalk seem to have entered the fight for Ovivo customers with an 8 day offer.
