How do you keep count?

What it says on on the tin...For the folks who do count how many comps you enter on a daily basis how do you do it?

I have been looking at a couple of other comping forums (I was just looking ) and I noticed they had trackers that kept count for them, it is a pity we don't have anything like that here :(

I am getting fed up of a pen and piles of scraps of paper, so how do you keep count?

I saw the thread earlier in the week did anyone try out the programe one of the compers was offering? Is it simple?

KISS (Keep it simple ((cos I am techy)) stupid) ;)

Hi,I have solved the dilemma by not counting.

I use the enter & forget model. That way you just comp for the fun & do not get hung up on totals etc.

I used to subscribe to threads but gave that up about 5 years back.

I take a rough count as I'm going. I have a excel file which I update at the end of my chomping for the day. X

I don't bother counting --- too much hassle

But if you need to know - you could always buy a clicker counter on eBay for £1

I'm with weeowens on this - knowing how many I've entered doesn't add to the overall comping experience for me, so I save time and don't bother keeping count !

I don't keep a count, just use the ticks/crosses to make sure I don't enter twice. I keep a tally of all wins though..... and approx rrp. I also keep all the winning paperwork and comp slips etc in a folder which is a bit sad maybe.
    total wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00

I don't keep count either - that would waste potential comping time! I thank every comp I open (even if I don't enter), and also lots of posts elsewhere, so counting my thanks doesn't work. I use the green ticks and red crosses to signify which comps I've actually entered.
