I've just upgraded my existing classic Lloyds current account to this new Club Lloyds account. I'm using this as my main current account so Salary in, mortgage and bills out etc. so the balance in the account fluctuates over the month.

Can someone tell be how the interest rate is calculated? Do I need to keep my balance above 4K for the whole month to receive the top rate of interest for that month or is it calculated daily but paid monthly?

From your account T&Cs...

We will work out credit interest on a daily basis at the relevant Club Lloyds credit interest rate from the 2nd working day of that month and pay it to your account at the end of the first working day of the next month.

Has anyone worked ou a way to set up a regular DD to automate the process? It's not the time it takes (ie logging in to Paypal), it's remembering to do it esp if often away from home.
