snuffling their tummies, kissing their paws... not moving when they are on our laps when we are bursting for a wee...
Cats don't have owners - they have staff!! :D:p

He smells like fresh clothes!!! i could sniff him all day! (but definitely don't cause that would be weird right?!!!!!) :)

I don't really have a choice about sniffing my cat - he still likes lying across my chest so I regularly get a big whiff of him as he gets himself comfy - he smells a bit like custard creams :D.
  • Damian my long haired black moggy smells of freshly wind blown clothes, not all the time though. I have a bed downstairs ATM due to disabilities & the cat loves to go on it & have what I call a needy, if I'm on there he will give me the needy, then curl up for a tummy rub with paws in air like a dog. He is definitely a cat with a plan, but as I say to him, I wish I knew what the plan was! And he like his ears rubbed lightly at edges. Not put them in my mouth. He washes me too. Not a couple of licks but a real wash. Hands/ legs & feet have all got attention in the past, it's like he knows the most painful bit & tries to lick it better. Sometimes it works too!

I am a Reiki practitioner and second cat Nicki was convinced he was a better healer than me! I had to keep him out of my healing room as he would jump up and try to 'knead' healing with my clients. I used to let him when it was OH! and he WAS rather good! OH reported that his paws (the cats not OHs) were boiling hot and his healing was rather relaxing! but, what really made me laff was that Nicki would try to 'heal' the sheepskin rug!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
I believe that cats are very sensitive to our pain - and will try to help the way they know how. they lick their own pains, but, I think certain cats know the healing energies and can use them. Current cat Barnes will use the 'kneading' method the minute I lie down because my back is hurting. and it certainly makes me 'feel better'! its lovely!
