How to get accurate valuation for your car?

motorguy - I think the OP was really asking 'what's my car worth'. It's very easy to say 'whatever someone's willing to pay' but I thought I'd show her how a dealer will value her car (he'll look it up in Glasses Guide or CAP?) and adjust for condition/mileage. I didn't give an accurate valuation ('around, up to £2,000') but I think what we were doing here is trying to make sure the OP doesn't get ripped off. I think she has a better idea of what her car is worth.0

Ok, so I think there is a bit of confusion here, the person who asked initially for an accurate valuation was not me! I just wanted an guesstimate so I was able to haggle and not to be ripped off. I guess the names who post and if the previous posts were read would clear this up.Aim to win a product of the year bag in 2020!
