"Exactly... Why should we have to"
No, we shouldn't have to, but I do it each month for the following reasons:
1. I am convinced the logarithms used by ALL the energy companies are flawed. The only alternative to that is that they are ALL trying to fraudulently gain over-the-odds payments.
2. I was once told I wouldn't be able to calculate my usage by some pimply faced (probably) boy from Scottish Power.
3. I like having ammunition for my calls.
Back in the "good old days" of British Gas and Norweb did I have any problems? I mean back before de-nationalisation? No. But perhaps others' experiences were different.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

The day before they were due to take over my dual fuel supply, I advised that they had incorrect Serial Number and MPRN number for the gas side.
The following day they sent emails confirming that they had taken over my energy supplies. I queried this and they confirmed that yes they had taken over the electricity. That was the energy takeover they refer to!
That, on 23 January, and despite a formal complaint being submitted on that day, was the last communication between us.
Just counting the days to take the complaint forward.0 -

You're back! Excellent, now I think we'll get some positive results!
Grainne, I sent a message via customer services a little over 10 days ago and haven't had a response, may I also email that address?

Grainne, is the contact form on the website working? I submitted a query a week ago and have not heard anything.
Not unrelated: The system will not accept a reading when your meter returns to 00000.0 -
i joined this company in August. On Compare the Market i was informed i would save £240 per year. My payments have stayed the same. there are no bills. I feel like I am being held to ransom. Something should be done about them! It is amazing that they can get away with such poor service. I complained to Compare the Market............ no good.
It is a high price to pay for a flippin' stuffed toy.
I do not trust comparison websites. As soon as spring has come and gone I will leave EE. Lick my wounds learn and never do this again.0 -

There should be no problems with submitting a meter reading, but if you email this too I can update this for you.“Official Company Representative
