Has anyone contacted them to try and swap to the new cheaper Clear Fix Oct 15 V1 with no penalty ? If I was on dual fuel with them it would save me £30 and only be tied for another month.0

I just had a visit from a meter reader. I wonder if EE will generate a bill for me now.
Though somehow i,ll doubt it will happen!0 -

We had a meter reader call round on 27th August and have heard nothing yet.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
Ive received an email from the cheap energy club saying that if I switch from Npowers online fixed November 2014 to Extra Energys Fresh fixed price October 2015 V1 I can save £189 a year plus £30 cashback, the only problem is that so far no one on here has anything good to say about EE.
The other alternatives are:
- First Utility saves me £188 plus £30 cashback.
- The Co-operative saves me £160 but no cashback
- OVO saves me £156 plus £30 cashback
So out of all of these which would be the better option as regards to customer service, or would it just be better to bite the bullet and go with EE for the saving alone?YNAB is my new best friend.0 -

I believe the energy suppliers tend to be all "the same", i.e., you may be lucky or not with service.
I think end of the day price is the top tie-breaker really....
I will pull the trigger today0 -
I may be missing a trick as I'm new to the site but I am considering switching to EE from EDF. Taking into account the current furore and frustration experienced by consumers I would appreciate some semblance of reassurance from a spokesperson on behalf of EE. Is there a representative out there who is sufficiently concerned to respond? This is not a rhetorical question.0

Yet another seeker of the holy grail!
Good luck.:rotfl:0 -
I got a card through the door for the readings. It says I was out and I need to provide readings to them either by phone or via the website. No mention of them returning to read it themselves.0
