Assuming they include VAT
Elec: 1588 units = £166.23 + 103 days = £24.53 = £190.76
Gas: 348 units = 3885kWh* = £148.87 + 103 days = £24.53 = £173.40.
Total: £364.16 Anywhere near? ;-)
* The conversion will depend on your local calorific value and will be different if your meter is in imperial units.0 -
OK, just seen your figures. If you add 5% VAT and £47 'misc', it doesn't look far out.0

Well done, looks as if that will be my next move, how much does it cost and if succesful do ee have to pay all costs?cheersWhat a coincidence! The day after the small claims court order is served, my EE energy credit refund is magically appearing in my account. Goes to show if they owe you money, after complaining and getting ignored or given false promises for weeks on end, taking them to small claims court and getting them to admit they owe you money is the surest and quickest way to get your money. They need their backside kicked into action.0 -
Thank you so much for helping me out with this. I trust you implicitly. Therefore, I will call EE now with my tail between my legs and sort out the final bill. By the end of the day I will be rid of this company once and for all.0

That's a bit rash, unless said tongue-in-cheek! However, they don't look too far out and, despite what some contributors here think of their general efficiency, I've no reason to suppose that their pooter can't do simple sums. I've only had one bill so far, and it agreed to the penny.I trust you implicitly.0 -

Court fee is £25 for claims under £5000. If EE admit the claim they have to pay it + court fee. Make sure you serve the judgment immediately after they admit it to claim court fee as well.

Hi
Another EE customer, I have been with them approx 7 months and have not had any bill so have a massive credit I'm sure I owe them money in truth though, what is the general consensus what to do now. Am I best to try to leave them?0 -
Thanks tara, called them earlier and got what i thought was a very symphetic lady, promised me a call back within a hour,i told her i dont beleive a word she says and all other problems i had with this company,as expected never called back,im going to wait til 23rd june as that is when ombudsmans final descision needs to be fullfilled by ee,when i dont get my final bill and compensation i will file a court claim against themCourt fee is £25 for claims under £5000. If EE admit the claim they have to pay it + court fee. Make sure you serve the judgment immediately after they admit it to claim court fee as well.

Only you can decide, there are 2 possible scenarios:
1. You can hope that in 5 months time when your contract is finished with EE that they will supply you with a bill, which is correct, and that you receive any credit due to you within 4 weeks of leaving them without having to contact the Ombudsman or go to the small claims court.
2. You can leave now and switch to another supplier through the MSE club in the hope of getting around £30 cash back, which helps pay for any exit fees. Switching whilst you are in credit will be better and you can work out your bills by using an online energy calculator. If you decide to switch now, make sure you cancel your direct debit with EE as soon as your switch has been confirmed by your new supplier and you have given final meter readings.
If you take this option (as I did) you will then have to wait in line for a bill from EE.Holding back the years...0 -
Left these bunch of amateurs on the 20th March & we,re still waiting for our final bill.
Never received a bill in the 11 months we were with them.
Our new supplier has already billed us & we,re so glad we,ve left EE.0
