This should be sorted now, there was a PLU update last weekend. Every store was also suppose to go through the PLU in the back office and remove/ put as not for sale for all items not sold in that store.
But this will not make things like the Easy Peelers under S for satumsa. Just rename them as Satsumas (Easy Peelers)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys all ok.
Local Morrisons ones are awful to use. Slow, constantly needing supervisor due to problems with bagging and to top it off they won't take £2 coins.0 -
I find Morrisons are stupidly designed, and it's impossible to stand where you can reach your basket and the packing bit at the same time. So I have to pick the item out of the basket, scan it, walk three steps to packing area, and repeat. Which is annoying and takes longer.
I agree. At the Morrisons ones, the thing that holds the bags can be slid along the scale and moved. But what I find is that either it's closer to you - but that means there's hardly any space for your shopping and you can only fill one bag at most. Or if it's slid further back to allow more space for bags, then it's ridiculously far away and you actually need to take several steps from basket to bag for each item. So annoying. Morrisons is one of the supermarkets I use least and this is one of the many reasons why.0 -
I would like add my vote for Morrisons being the worst self service tills in all the supermarkets. I have never scanned my shopping there without having to call an assistant to get me started again. Personally I have had no problems at Tesco and there is always at least one member of staff readily available to assist if required. My local Lidls does not have any self service till for 10 or less items, and there are always long queues at their checkouts.0

I used to love the Safeway green boxes and self-scan ... I wish my local Tesco would get the selfscan units in:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
