ERUDIO student loans help

It should be simple matter, yes. Alas, I fear mankind has yet to produce a computer system powerful enough to counter Erudio's weapons-grade incompetence.0

Well I finally received my deferment form with no mention of the date being put forward! Anyway a new point has arisen from the form:
In the first year of erudio's ownership of the loans I had my application for deferment rejected a couple of times as they kept on pushing the boundary of what they required. Eventually they accepted after I provided them with my last THREE bank statements (these had never previously been required). Yesterday I was reading through the deferment pack and read that if one is deferring and being 'kept' by a spouse then the form needs to be returned with ONE bank statement along with a letter from the spouse declaring that they were financially supporting you. I rang them yesterday to queery this and was told that they actually didn't require any bank statements just a letter from my wife. Anyone got any thoughts on this?0 -

If you want an easy deferral don't trust what they say on the phone. I have deferred with spousal support and they kept telling me different things. I now send a letter from my spouse and three months statements to prove payments as standard and then they can't query it/time waste further. Blank out anything not relevant to them and it goes smoothly and you are not giving them anything they don't need.0 -
They certainly can move quick, occasionally.
My deferment form (minimally completed, scrawled all over T&Cs about not consenting etc etc) was received by them 10am 26th April, acceptance form printed (judging by code) on 28th, dated 29th, received today.
Less than 2 days to turn it round. They surely have no excuse that it will take weeks!
Now I have that, I will be complaining that it wasn't sent to me 8 weeks beforehand.0 -
Same here heartbroken, letter confirming deferment yesterday, received by them 27/4, printed 29/4 and dated 30/4. They didn't take issue with my defaced DAF either, despite telling me in January that any amended DAFs would be refused.
I received another letter yesterday too, dated 29/4, saying that they still hadn't received by deferment application, and reminding me of deferment end date! Big eejits.0 -
I received a new DAF in the post yesterday, with a deferment date in the accompanying letter that is one calendar month later than the previous date.0

I'm still waiting for my DAF and letter. If they do the same to me and grant me a one calender month extension, then my deferment period end date goes from May 19th to June 19th.
It is currently May 9th. 22 days left in the month plus 19 to June 19th = 41 days until my deferment period ends.
So they're still not making the 56 day mark, are they?
I realise this makes me look utterly pedantic.:A0 -
Erudio have also now extended my next year of deferment by 1 month. Deferring has been such a hassle for many of us this year- I hope it's not going to be like this every year until we reach the point at which we're eligible to have the loans written off!0

Well unless someone in a position of power has the balls to do something then I'm pretty sure it will be.0 -
