ERUDIO student loans help

Erudio told the FOS they would be reporting loans by the end of 2015. A change in policy or another lie? I'll try to dig out the FOS quote if I get time.0

I suspect Erudio may come back and say this is due to the fact they haven't been able to finish the remediation process yet.
Probably, but I'd still think it fair that the FOS review those decisions now they know Erudio won't be reporting to the CRAs any time soon, by their own admission.0 -
Erudio's added some comments to its FAQs section on DAFgate. Im sure it will make interesting reading...one in particular that uses the kind of backcovering double meaning explanation that could be interpreted in 2 ways.0

Yes. They admitted customers received their reminder letters before they received their deferment pack - which is what everyone has been saying all along!0 -

But the FOS don't seem to care what Erudio do, they hand out a few £50 and £100 payments, but don't make them change their bad habits or comply with the rules.
What's the point of a regulator who can't regulate?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

If the SLC's old statements don't comply with CCA, might be best to head straight to court and open the floodgates?
Would a joint action work with that?
But is the responsibility with SLC or Erudio?
Does all this mean that Carval spent millions on worthless loans?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Has anyone had confirmation in writing from Erudio yet stating that they are extending the date on which the current deferment period ends to compensate for sending DAFs out late? Unless everyone affected gets a new deferment end date stated in writing, I wouldn't put it past Erudio to screw people over and try to take payments in a few weeks time. I have just over 4 weeks to return the DAF- it is very unlikely that Erudio will process it in time, particularly with another bank holiday coming up in a few weeks!0

This part: "Due to an isolated incident, some of our customers in March did not receive all of the paperwork required to complete their deferment application forms as expected."
If it said 'any' instead of 'all' it would be an outright admittance. As this was tagged on to the part before they say they didnt arrive, it ties the 2 events together...even though it doesnt really make logical sense. It shows they know exactly what the actual problem was, even though they cant admit it. Good stuff for FOS.0 -
I may be wrong but I thought it was Anna they had told they had planned to report to CRAs by the end of 2015? Isn't the whole point that they have no right to be reporting to CRAs in the first place and that by 'submitting' an application to defer (DAF no.1) or signing an application (DAF no.2) you agree they have the right. They need to redesign the DAF if they expect us to use it. It still maintains you agree they have rights that they do not. Remember all those quotes of clause 12 and 16! Where do they stand now? How can it be right to still threaten folk with this. It may be an empty threat but it was a tactical move on their part to gain extra rights they did not have and maximise their profits.Paying for uni to get a job... just to get a job to pay for uni0
