It's just that I didn't make all of those redactions, so I'm paranoid about who did!

I did, just on the safe side as couldn't immediately find the original post.

So no need to worry. :)

Surely provided we keep up with our commitments under the agreement, then Arrow can just whistle?

How would they win in court if it can be easily shown that that we kept up with our side of the agreement, but Arrow just ignored theirs?

Will they dare take anyone to court?

I'm sure if people keep to their commitments under the agreement, then I can't see what Erudio/Arrow can do. Well, apart from compensate people when they mess them around.

However, I wouldn't recommend ignoring them completely.

@ Lungboy, I just scanned page 6 of the DAF Erudio sent me, saved as a jpg and amended it using Paint. There's a copy here:

Thank you. Did you therefore include 2 page 6's, one blank and one amended? They send it double sided now so to fill in page 5 I'd need to send a blank page 6. Or I guess I can scan page 5 too.

Don't ignore them, but keep to the terms of the agreement, and just ignore the bullying.

If we stick to the agreements, what can they do, would they really be able to convince a court that it's reasonable to force people to sign up to new terms and conditions just to exercise their right to defer?

  • Erudio have finally sent me a statement :j but - a lot of monthly interest payments are missing, a refund I've had for a payment made when I should have been deferred hasn't shown up & there are no details about IR being charged. So not an accurate statement at all then

In fact, its a table of figures with columns for dates, transaction, debit, credit & balance. Weirdly I seem not to have been charged any interest from March to July 2014 according to this statement but I'm doubting their generosity & assuming incompetence.... This is ringing a distant bell that some others also had missing months from your statements but I can't find those posts.

It is in large print, but I'd like to know what info appears on all the standard annual statements before I spend any time taking it up with FOS. Does anyone have an example statement with personal details & figures redacted that they wouldn't mind sharing, so I can see what else I'm missing please? Just want to get a general layout & what additional info all you "normal" people out there are getting that I'm not.

    Thanks in advance.

Oddly enough, my compensation that FOS have advised the to pay hasn't turned up yet, but they've promised it's on its way.
And I find that looking back at you gives a better view, a better view...

Well finally got Erudio letter on Friday. Happy weekend.

The handbook guide to fill out the DAF is 2 pages per page, in portrait so extra small text. Basically just printed off and stapled together. Very professional.

Anyway, now the threshold is out, going to print off the SLC daf editing the monthly amount and then I'll sign that and send it off.

Not happy about signing anything with these clowns to be honest, even if it is the SLC daf.
  • Thanks for this. I have had nothing but problems with Erudio. They are saying I am in arrears, when I have had no official contact from them, with no clear deferment dates listed. I am also dyslexic so cross referencing dates and information just leaves me nauseous. As a result, I am probably overly cautious but I contacted them again over the weekend to ask about deferment and they had said I am over my dates and now in arrears.. again, which I simply know not to be true after all the hassle I went through last time.

Please can anyone tell me, how on earth do I deal with this company, set my deferment dates clearly in order to process this in as pain-free a way as possible? I feel like I am going to have to be in stress every year for the rest of my life and in all honestly, I am not sure I can cope with them.

I sent off my DAF with amended last page yesterday. Fingers crossed it will be accepted, but I fear my amended DAF and redacted wageslips will be too much for them.

Sorry for the late reply Lungboy, I see you've sent your DAF now, but I just scanned page 5 and printed double sided with the amended page 6.

Good luck with your deferment - maybe the Erudio monkeys are only trained to spot lines through terms and handwritten amendments! :D

Here's a copy of my annual statement and covering letter - I had the same issues with interest not being charged for some months, and the interest for some months being lumped together... it's almost as if Erudio want to get the stated interest wrong (I did check the interest calculation at the time, based on the dates they said they'd waived interest and no surprises, it was wrong!). I've marked the other errors/blatant lies, there's plenty of them.

It would be good to know if Erudio missed some of the interest from everyone's statements? The fact they lied about a CCA remediation letter being sent makes me think they're deliberately getting the interest figure wrong.

I made a complaint to Erudio on the annual statement last October, which has been with the ombudsman for a few weeks now (after Erudio didn't bother to reply to the adjudicator on my conditional acceptance). If there's anything helpful in the final decision, I'll post it up here, but best not hold our breath :)
