ERUDIO student loans help

so Erudio told Paul Lewis, although he had very little time to say it, that they will pass on details to CRAs, unless you state you dont want them to. That differs to what some of us have recently been told by Erudio that it wont be passed on if we defer successfully.
The sheer inconsistency in what Erudio are saying is rather disgraceful considering how much money they are handling. I thought clarity was supposed to be paramount in the financial services sectors these days...0 -
If anyone has the earlier pages of that form, can they let me have them? Thanks.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I hope someone looks into these companies behind Erudio posted in this thread who understands such labyrinthine structures as well to make BIS accountable for its due diligence process. And someone gets Mark (Howard) Filer, our beloved Director, to come out of the shadows and comment on all this.0

Will be intriguing to know whether anyone has had a deferment agreed to yet, as well as NOT had money debited from their accounts. I have not had any responses to emails I sent them, but yesterday there was a voice message on my phone from Screwdio asking me to phone them back re. my request for deferment. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still claiming they don't have all the information they need. However, I do not wish to phone them because I don't see why I should spend money on phoning these shysters, as well as me only wanting to communicate with them in writing. I would like to know why they seem unable to reply to email messages.
In his BBC slot this morning Paul Lewis did not mention it, but I am concerned that Screwdio does not actually want to agree to anyone's request for deferment. I will only be satisified that this company is not up to dirty tricks when I get confirmation in writing that my loan has been deferred and witness that they have not debited any money from my account.0 -
Update - the advisor advised that that letter was wrong, he has confirmed that my student loan has been deferred. He also confirmed that they will not be passing any info to CRAs unless the loan goes into default. He said signing the deferment form did not agree to changing terms and conditions.
I have asked for all this info in writing. He said he would. Lets wait and see....................
Taz: did you complete the deferral form or send your own letter?0 -

I'm just going to send them exactly what I always gave the SLC for deferment. So I'm going to only fill in the sections on the form that the SLC form asked for and blank out etc the rest. I am going to include a copy of the SLC deferment form and a covering letter stating that they don't need all that extra info etc if the SLC never did and still don't. Also I will be stating that I don't agree to any new T&C's either or the CRA etc. Think I'll included a copy of The Education (Student Loans) Regulations 1998 too.0 -
heres what paul lewis just twaated:
Anyone with a pre1998 loan had already given consent I am told by BIS and Erudio. Only 1998 loans had not. But yes you can
the last part concerning sending a letter telling them not to share info.
I dont personally remember giving consent but there you go...anyone have conclusive evidence for pre1998 loans about that?0 -
so what is the evidence for this claim from BIS? As they were the ones overlooking the sale. I dont personally know, especially considering SLC never chose to do this but what i do know is BIS would have a hell of a lot to answer for if that was not the truth.
I guess we need to prove it, have it proven or accept it...0
