Thank you chaps for all the helpful information.
I have now filled out the form (from page 71), and composed a covering letter. I fear that this problem will rumble on for a while.
Good Luck to all, and fingers crossed!
Re-reading the deferment form, no where on the form says that you have to supply 3 months worth of wage slips, or evidence of the income you are receiving. It is only in the information that they send with the form that they request this information. SLC had what you had to provide on the actual form. - As I have missed out on receiving documentation from Erudio, then I hope sending 14 weeks of payslips will be sufficient!0 -
Now Erudio are splitting up peoples three years worth of loans into separate entities and asking them to defer each one separately at different times of the year.
They are trying to make it as much as a pain as possible for people to defer each loan.
They are messing with the deferment start and end dates too.0 -

Obviously they're going to give us plenty of notice of the new deferment dates and send us the forms before they take any money.
*I've not got the hang of this yet have I?:rotfl:0 -

Have i missed something? Or is it just a joke that wouldnt actually be too much of a surprise?
No joke.
They are playing around with the terms and conditions, being sneaky, not breaking the terms and conditions but reading what they want into them.
Then BIS and "Two brains" turn and say the t and c's are not changing!0 -

I haven't heard anything about this? If they want to split them up, then I want my post-98 loans to be treated differently to my pre-98 loans!
e: would it be worth someone re-drafting that template letter, taking into account all of the new information we have since that was first posted?0 -
Where did you hear that erictheking? I knew they've been messing with deferment start/end dates, but splitting the loans... seriously??
If that's what they're up to, it's a flagrant breach of the regs. And also smacks of desperation.
Erudio must enjoy winding their customers up - two sides can play at that game!
Edit: Just had a thought as to why they might want to do that (other than being a complete PITA) - they know they have no legal right to request P60's, or even 3 months' worth of payslips, etc - splitting loan deferments throughout the year would be a way to keep a check on borrowers' income over the whole year?0 -
It sounds like a rather big wind up to me...0

Someone who is having trouble with Erudio told me about it. He had DDs taken too and manged to get a refund but only after many many requests.
I'll try and get the full story about the split loans from him.0
