Good morning MSE land,
Spent a long time last night surfing diaries looking for motivation, cheats and tips. found a fab diary by Dinnah93 i think it was called the ultimate incentive, she cleared a whopping 16k or 19k in 9 months (if i recall....it was early hours and was using matchsticks to keep my eyes open)...Anyway it was impressive especially since at that time she was on salary or about £1400, incredible what we can achieve, has really motivated me. Todays task pay funds into the bank £60 take spare crank arm back to halfords for refund of £9.99, then stay in and study, do nails and hair before night out with my fave couple. Main aim today is to not overspend, and not over drink, thats where I get into trouble...will source some bits to put on ebay need to time it so im in work to take advantage of discounted post. Right best go and get to the bank...be back later xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

So money banked, total of £70 heading to cc1, made up of £59 (unexpected) £1.01 quidco and £9.99 refund...not bad for a start, take that cc1..Did a spreadsheet to keep track of 100% grid totals and have paid 58% of cc1 not 53% happy as a clam right now, really is easier if you concentrate on the one, at least makes me feel better. Other MSE moves made today, called to see when can cancel Cinema subscription, July so that wil be an extra £15.90 for the cards form Aug I think, also Can upgrade then, have a fab tarriff but did a mobile deal search on my current usage and found that if i go with te$co mobile can get line rental £7.50pm...am tempted as will save me £257 overall...will wait to see what offers ee have got to offer me to keep my custom. Tempted to get PAYG chip but would make me feel like a teenager again, not so keen...hmm still have few months to decide, all i know is £20 current bill seems too much...DFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

I had a MSE moment:money:...so thinking about my spends for Dublin & was looking at the MSE money site to see what would be the best place to get it....Then notice mse write up on best card to use and to they advise against using debit cards due to charges. Anyway they recommended a prepaid charge card, so I looked on qui$co and got £5cash back, no joining fee (as over £50 order) & no commission very happy I do love a deal, also told the girls about it too along with my referral code get £10 credit for each one that joins, cheeky I know but its a good deal, potentially £30 extra funds:money:, will shout them a drink for it too...everyone wins.... will also be useful for hen do too as I can recharge card ....love a deal & thought id share as someone else would find this useful...this makes me so happy its sad :rotfl:xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Good Mornng MSE world,
Feeling a but tender this morning, had a wonderful time last night with my bestie and her hubby, drinks turned into dinner and just manage to catch the last train, damage of £60.70:o but I really did have a wonderful time, completely worth it...new goals set for this month, mainly to clear up as much debt as humanly possible...& to move would be nice (goals dont match but ill make it work lol) priority is debt payments. Dinner was funded by Insurance money fund (savings) will find a way to replace it later, or find a cheaper deal than last year, will put my MSE hat on for that one when the time comes...had really was a lovely time & impressed I didnt use my cc. Im starting to train my self to not use it, as its not my money, simple thing but thats how I use to view it, I was all about the pay later, before I knew it I have thousands owing. So pay from savings, current a/c or go without now days.
Made a payment to cc1 of £11.01 (using virtual sealed pot):j. Today I will spend nothing staying home, bought cat food yesterday a$da £6.01 for can & dry (shes not going to like this much) started to mix them to spread it a little further...So she wont go hungry, brought bulk so should last the month...going to literally use up everything I have in cupboards & fridge to keep food budget down.;)
Feeling pretty optimistic I want cc1 dead and buried as soon as possible In fact cremation arranged for 26th June 2014:rotfl: new target set...why not!! best go check lotto results *fingers crossed* lol xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Good Morning MSE land...So very tired, did a good deed & did a spot of babysitting, im tired & have no idea how anyone does it, i was scared to sleep in case bubs needed something then when i did his eyes flung open, like he has a 6th sense for not having my attention. I take my hat off to you parents, I actually couldnt get much done, but was really fun playing & laughing all morning, even if i am half dead. Made a VSP payment on cc1 of £1.27 & after reading rave reviews on the boards downloaded free 35day trial of YNAB app to my pc & phone, thats the spend sheet taken care of, watched a couple of tutorials and signed up to 10day budgeting course, never hurts to refresh the knowledge. Pretty cool as lets me see everything i have and owe...quite scary but definitely motivating. Will let you know how i get on...will have a NSD today for sure...think on ways to increase income this month xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Ooh well done you, my dh was looking at the babies at a wedding recently and getting broody, I have said absolutely no way I'm too old and tired.
The ynab seems to have really worked for some people, not sure if you've seen Steph's thread it's been great for her.

Morning C:D
Aww Never too old C;) but they are hard work...still quite cute, sometimes get broody myself thats why I borrow one every so often soon sets me right:rotfl: Perhaps you should borrow one for hubby to look after, kind of try before you buy...works a treat hehe
No i havent read Stephs thread, will have a hunt now thank you...It pretty cool & puts my spreadsheets to shame, just trying to work out how ill cope when the trial ends...create a ynab lookalike (doubt I can be asked), could put away a £1 a day towards it (till trial ends)...or if you take the tutorials you get a chance of winning one that be nice...I do love a freebie:D ...dont think i can go back, sucker for good marketing lol
Hope your having a fab Bank Holiday...waiting for collection of the sugar lump then heading to back to bed...small luxuries I wont be taking for granted for a while hehe xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T
