    Good morning MSE land,

Today is a really gorgeous day, no payments today but will try and have a non spendy one, feeling a bit cheerier this morning...no point being gloomy this is the situation and i will handle it, honestly feel like im up and down like a roller coaster sometimes...I realised last night after reading something that i miss peace of mind, the follow up thought was i can have peace of mind if I want it, I just need to change perspective so this is what im trying to do.

Such a gorgeous day!! So yesterday was a spend day booked a weekend in Ireland with my friends for her 30th for £200:o...excited. Now to research how to make this one a cheapy one, ive heard from a few people that its a bit pricey over there...still cant wait!!:j
In other news my mortgage release consent came through finally!!!!:j:j So happy with this, I never have to speak to the ex again or have a mortgage for a property i have nothing to do with, feel like doing cartwheels :j instead to celebrate brought cakes for my team at work who have literally been amazing supportive and helpful through out this & put up with my f'ing and blinding about the situ, bless them:T ,treated myself to lunch and paid another 2% off cc1. have another £27 to bank which i can pay to the cc today. So happy feel like a weights been lifted now to concentrate on digging myself out of this hole and getting back on the property ladder and becoming a [STRIKE]MFW[/STRIKE] actually just MF would be incredible. But one step at a time. First debt free....need a budget for June may need to make it more flexible and just put in the essentials as last months budget went to pot, in a good way was supposed to make additional dp of £500 actually did £1000:j:j:j very proud of myself (though mostly savings but hey ho i like a challenge!! feeling happy & motivated today...right best crack on or ill be late, sorry for the essay...have a fab day one and all x

payday tomorrow woohoo.... now all I have to do is get through today without spending, still have £45 left over so will send that to cc first thing in the morning...this month felt longer than any other, very happy to reset the clock...starting to feel abit miffed recently, brought a pair of jeans and shoes, then had a good think whether i needed them and took them back...occurred to me i can control the spending on myself, what my real downfall is with controlling it with my family. My parents are the main drain on my income, they dont earn very much and from what i see are just as bad at money management than me, but more times than i can count im covering their rent or getting an extra food shop in for them too, I dont mind but its quite frustrating, especially when i see them frittering money on stupid things. Dont get me wrong most of my debt is my own, and im 100% responsible for the position im in. I just come to realise that id be in a far better position if i learned to say no to the constant borrowing and covering everyones short falls. So ive made a decision. I am no longer footing the bill for everyone else, (unless its an emergency or necessity). Today I slightly more selfish me has awoken, I need to be debt free & I need to get my own life...whilst i wouldnt see them starve, im not funding anyone any more. was sat thinking last night that i actually never ask anyone for anything (actually the bank but i pay it back) yet everyone asks me claiming poverty and yet has money to smoke and drink their lives away...nope im not buying into that any more....wow sounds like im a right moo...funny thing is im actually feel better than i have in a while. Sun is shining, and im late for work...pants!! gotta go...sorry about the offloading but i wanna get everything down, the good the bad..everything...ok have a fab and frugal day x

Happy Friday folks...& for me payday...Soo happy its here!! first things first paid 2% on cc1 and 2% on cc2 (min payment) also 2% debt1 (s/o payment) have put these to my June total, coz I actually cant wait till June to do it, My will powers not strong. so thought id bite the bullet and do it....Council tax paid and weekly rent. Very surprised that was given some money towards rent that i paid on mum behalf, really wasnt expecting it, feel pretty guilty about grumbling now especially as it came with a thank you for helping her out...felt even more guilty:o, will try harder to be more understanding in future, wonder if my council tax money will follow?? wishful thinking.:D

So took my car to garage to get a new tyre, turns out my tyre nut key thing is missing, looked high & low its gone, callled dealer to get a new one, apparently I needed some code I also dont have so will have to have all my nuts drilled off and replaced to the tune of £170ish(this is just for the nuts not another tyre)...why lord why!!! Am now waiting for my trusty garage man to come back from hols to see if he can do it any cheaper;)..found a tyre man who can do new tyre for £50 so fingers crossed my guy can drill the wheel nuts off;)...honestly this must be my Karma for grumbling. from now on I wont and will try a positive approach.:)

Booked the car in for couple of weeks just in case, so now just being grateful I have the money to fix it, so hoping I dont have to use it, my local mechanic can fix it for less & i can cancel the booking with dealer...£100 for everything would be amazing, have everything crossed...going to have a very interesting month:D, budget will need a bit of giggery pokery too...may need to cut everything to bare minimum, do I need to eat on my Ireland trip:rotfl:, food shop can be cut to basics, have freezer stocked still from last month so just need basic milk, bread, fruit...think i even have some of that frozen too:rotfl:... & insurance saving can be used if needed, will make up for short fall next month. Either way ill sort it, also realised I owe work funds too £40 on expenses:(...hmm.

I have managed not to spend today which is good, will bank half the extra rent money and pay it to my card first thing tomorrow, priority is paying off the card as quickly as possible, am upto 53% very happy with this cant stop now...lord I hope I win the lotto tomorrow, that would be amazing...failing that i hope i make it through this month without using my cc1 for anything, that be nice too.

In other news gained 4lbs id lost, can always find weight even when Im not looking for it, need to get more motivated on that front! few lettuce leaves and veg will do me good. Having a night in, turned down chance to go festival tomorrow so could save money only to realise im meeting my friends for celebration drinks, will be taking it easy, taking just what I intend to spend- £20 should cover it and £10 oyster top up, drinks spends wasnt in the budget either, though I think hen night balance may be overbudget, need to check with the girls. basically going to have to be careful this month, but itll all work out in the end...it always does...:):):)

    Goals for June:

Make debt payment of £1000 in June (from may salary-covers June)
    Lose 8lbs
    Make an additional £100
    Have 20 NSD
Make a payment a day (even if its a penny)
Have a dry month- (except Ireland trip -But no more than 3 alcohol beverages per evening- I do believe that's a bottle of vino, plenty)
Win £££ on lotto- its been a while coming.:rotfl:
Have some frugal fun, find things to do that cost nought.:money:
Bring lunch to work every day, breakfast too- prep in evening so not caught short.
    Donate to food bank- £3
Say no to loaning out money (unless emergency)
Account for every penny this month.:money:
    Keep spend diary.
Exercise at least 5times a week (excluding biking to work)
3 random acts of kindness per day:D
make at least one person smile a day:D
Think of 10 things im grateful for each day....:D

ok that sounds doable...may as well get cracking on some of these now!!! No time like the present;)...x
