Next year .... I might paint my shed in "beach hut stripes/colours".
Planning on doing my summerhouse over the next 2 months.

As well as moving and planting up that sink, I mowed the grass. There was a bit of space in the bin ago I started pulling weeds from the 'flower beds'. I'm definitely not short of weeds! As well as farming potatoes, my garden seems to have the perfect conditions for bindweed. I hate bindweed.
    I've 2 full composters.
I also now have 24 big green sacks of garden waste for tipping. Plus 2 trees to chop up, & 1 to still come down.
I've grown nowt this year - the toms I planted are struggling, the lettuce appears to be ok (everything seems to be growing slowly though).

I spent the weekend doing stage 1 of getting the front block paving tidy & in order. Got to sand it tomorrow evening.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

    Yes!

The diswasher is full ready to go, the washing machine ready to roll, so, as soon as they come I can start to fill it up again!

Pastures, when you move in will you get the Fire Brigade to visit? They do free home visits and can help you plan your escape routes if fearful of fire. Perhaps some extra fire detectors, a carbon monoxide one (or there already given the house is new) a couple of fire extinguishers and a fire blanket for the kitchen.

You won't need to use them but they could give you some reassurance having them. It's worth explaining that you are an aspie and your fears to the FB too.
Do they still do this? Wondered if it was something that had been cut. Might look into it.
As new jelly had been rented out, there are 2 smoke alarms (that are a bit sensitive :o ) wired to the mains. Haven't got a carbon monoxide detector yet, but it is on the list.

I've never got matching outfits.... dressed in a sleeveless cotton shirt with a collar.... but wanted/needed something over that so my arms weren't exposed and I didn't burn.... and/or if it was nippier out than it looks. Trouble is, the shirt I've put over the top, while collarless, doesn't look great with the top.

    Jeans/top are a match
    Jeans/overshirt are a match
    Shirt and top aren't.

Oh well.... nobody's looking at me :)

New question for discussion: How many NPs have burglar alarms? Do you use them religiously? Nobody ever mentions them; houses for sale details never mention them. Are they something one doesn't talk about??

Off out now .... hand in notice, amble round market and the 99p shop.

Kermie's Brit soon - his forceps marks have pretty much gone, so he's for the chop this morning.

The problem with animals is they trigger them. I was a key holder for a friend with one and animals at last house and I was over there all the time. Bloody nightmare.

Alarms are not the only security measure. I'd quite like that ultraviolet dye that is released on forced entry. When someone is not caught but goes clubbing or whatever they are clearly shown up as a thief. Apparently though there is human rights issue with this as they might not be a thief, just someone who had to force entry to save a trapped kitten or something.
