Roughly 3 foot by 2 foot. The table itself is solid. Solid enough for me to stand on to change a light bulb and not feel that it is likely to collapse.
Oh that IS sturdy! That's on the list then
I like flexible items that have many future/potential uses and can be carried/stored easily as I'm small and there's only ever "just me".0 -

I remember weeks of scouring shops for things that dad might be able to enjoy, taste, eat when he was refusing to eat and everything tasted bad. I do remember one small "win" of a Tiramisu. I say small win because they come in a pack of two minipots .... and he ate the one I gave him, but then never wanted the second. It was a constant battle to get enough into him due to discomfort/taste/desire.
Apparently pineapple's good .... so I bought lots of small tins ... he liked pineapple ... but he still wouldn't eat it due to lack of motivation to try to eat.
Thankfully I can still eat ok. My mouth has a funny taste in it but food still tastes roughly normal. In fact, when I eat my mouth doesn't taste so yucky.
I have to be careful with food being hot or spicy as the inside of my mouth is burnt and I am super sensitive to those things. I quite fancied some pineapple today but decided against it as the acid mightn't be helpful.0 -
Pastures, when you move in will you get the Fire Brigade to visit? They do free home visits and can help you plan your escape routes if fearful of fire. Perhaps some extra fire detectors, a carbon monoxide one (or there already given the house is new) a couple of fire extinguishers and a fire blanket for the kitchen.
You won't need to use them but they could give you some reassurance having them. It's worth explaining that you are an aspie and your fears to the FB too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Why are they difficult? Could you use a roller or spray instead of brushes, perhaps?CKhalvashi wrote: »That looks absolutely beautiful NDG!
Another 90 minutes at SAW, then another 2 hours and I'll be in bed. I really can't wait!

Hope you got some kip, and feel beautifully relaxed this morning.Left: broad beans
Centre: chillies
Right: sugar snap peas
Not convinced that the sugar snap peas will make it. They look pretty sad.
Need to get some stakes tomorrow/ this week.
Chillies look good!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Sending dodgy hugs to Gen and wishing there was more I could do to make things better for him. :grouphug:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Well the side effects are ramping up now. My mouth is bone dry and has a metallic taste in it, nothing stops my ear from hurting and my hair has fallen out of the back of my head.
Despite that I am still reasonably chipper.
<hugs> Gen.
My mother had some sort of gel capsules when she was having chemotherapy, whcih dried her mouth out hugely. Could you ask at the chemist, see if you can get something similar?

It is. As much as anything, it's keeping potential infections at bay which is a good thing.
I'm going to ask for advice tomorrow from the radiographers to see what they recommend for a dry, burnt mouth.0 -

!
We are using a spray thingy.
Its better than a brush in some ways but not others.
In gets bunged up quite a bit, both of us are covered in paint. Because of biodisc issues we didn't shower last night and when I woke this morning I was shocked at the colour of my hands and arms and cleavage.
The wood soaks up lots of wood stain, and also we don't want to stain the other side ( in case the people who look at that side don't want in that colour) so we try and be as neat as possible. The panels all have to be done twice and it just seems to take ages.
With walls we've done four or five times the square metres in a day easily.0
