    So...

Someone nicked two plants from my front garden overnight.

Oh Nikkster, so sorry to hear that. Have to say I worry about my plants in front, but they're in such hug pots it would prob be difficult. I should prob worry more about the solar lights. :o;)

Lots of accounts rules, professional indemnity insurance, compensation fund. No need to worry on that score. :)

Hmm, the sol my parents chose as co-executor with my OH was difficult (to say the least!) and his partner got struck off for moving money around, and in one case I think it took over 12 years for money to get to the beneficiaries of a will. We did approach the Law Society, but they were not helpful in any way. I'll never trust a solicitor again! Though I do have to say the one we got in to sort out the mess has been great, we will use her in future if we need sols.

It only took 7 years to sort out mess original solicitor made of everything! Anyone curious can read the whole saga here! Be warned though, the thread is 15 pages long! :o  :rotfl:

Morning Gen. Very nearly 9 down, 6 to go is it?

Which super power would the NP choose?

Yup, 9 down 6 to go!

The Generalissimos came with me this morning so they could see what it was like. The operators showed them how to line it all up using the laser beams. They were really interested

Time travel for me I reckon.

Just wanted to say that I'm not around much at the mo as we've been slogging on the lottie... Plus we lost a day both of us getting haircuts! :rotfl:

But I'm sending the Vibes to Generali and LiR. I do it every day, sit in porch and send the Vibes.

Anyway, today I thought I'd send a virtual bouquet, or rather the virtual space for you to pick your virtual bouquet IYSWIM.

You get pink rose buds (Rosa the New Dawn), red and white valerian, and lavender to choose from. Might cheat and add in some Lady's Mantle from the back garden too, as its lime green flowers look so great with the pale and dark pink in the bouquet... No pics at the mo as it's dark here now!

Definitely supersonic flight closely followed by the power to kill a yak from 200 yards away with mind bullets.

    Yeah. Curse those yaks.

The ability to heal. But if that's not available then yes time travel.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

It'd have to be something like turning a cheap base metal into gold .... so I could afford things :)

Just had a bit of a shock.

One of my former work colleagues died tragically young a couple of years back. I've just had a reminder from LinkedIn asking to celebrate his work anniversary. I know that after his death his friends tried to get his page taken down but were unsuccessful. It was a bit unsettling really.

In other news, I'd like to be able to time travel and to fire a love ray at fighting forces and paramilitaries (in the current era, if I did it in the past I might change history, not necessarily a good thing, I'd have to time travel responsibly).
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Consultant on Wednesday. Hoping to get something to help a little then, even temporarily like last time. Those antibiotics were magic but I cannot work out why. And why if I'm nursing infection all the time why there seems no tell in my wbc count. I'd really like someone to talk about all of this when I have random questions.

Consultant asked me to get a copy of file from GP for him. GP has been incredibly difficult about this. In the end I've managed to get period since registered with them only, have to pick it up today. Even getting them to do it without me going on to sign and pay in advance was difficult ( wouldn't take payment over the phone). I have been unable to drive and trying to get them to understand that I couldn't mt just 'pop in' was a night mare. How do other people with chronic illness or disability cope? More care? I don't need or want more care, I want to be alone more. Last week I was alone ( part of why not able to pop in) and it was the reason I made it through I think.

I have a file with all my private stuff in it from before that, but......cannot find it ATM.

I'd give my superpower to the pets: a language we get. so they could tell us how it is really. We'd learn so much, and I'd want them to be able to tell others, not just me.....

Only, my house would be VERY noisy! and not sure I'd like that much. Its an interesting idea extended though. Could we kill rats whose distress we heard more clearly as the poison sealed through their bodies? Or eat meat? Or enjoy birds skipping across the lawn if we heard their bug prey scream? Or the impact on us as a species could be hardening and murderous, totally opposite to my hope!

Tbh, I don't want superpowers ( though I don't mind normal human ruler of the world status) because I think we're already powerful enough and limits are what give us creativity and invention. I'd just like my normal human powers in full force. And to be very, very, very rich.

Off to pick James up from uni today for the holidays...so think my power would be the ability to just click my fingers and be somewhere without all the travelling!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
