One of the boys has a friend who is chipped. He is beeped when his levels need attention.

This is now the preferred treatment regime for Type 1.

I love it, but would never have it as it would be easy to be obsessed with fingerprints.

I think it was only a few years ago that building regs required some sort of support on the outer side, before that you could have open stairs. I did think that some sort of hand rail was required. Even if not required it would be sensible.

I agree with lir, that join is upsetting. A single pane would be better.

    Crazy, silly call with surgery.

Firstly, had to stay on line waiting for AGES. I got stuck at fifth in the queue feeling close to the end for a long time!

Then when I got through and asked for a telephone appt they asked when would be suitable and I said....well, you tell me and they said well...this afternoon, and I said...ok, roughly when and I'll stay by the phone. They said you say, so I said.....front end of surgery so sometime between 2 and 4 say?

Then...after all the..you choose business they said...

Well, you don't get to choose but we'll ask him to call you. BYE!

    It was silly.

OMG did we just have an agreed interior design moment? :rotfl:

I might just ruing it now. :o

I think the white wall at the back is cowardly. Its the ideal place for colour and movement.

A lot of modern design has such possibility but the blanks for imagination are left blank. Sometimes this is bold and leaves room for thoughts and space . Other times is cowardly, un creative and a kida waste of the opportunity offered by a big ticket item of functional design offered. Like , IMO there.

Walking down those stairs would scare me. It'd put me off buying a house ... for starters you know you'll be paying over the odds for somebody else's aspirational (mad) ideas.... and there will be lots of niggles to be found all over the place.

Doozer, I thought you lived near LJ? Southend is only 5 hours from me in sunny Runcorn ( and that's driving at a sensible speed, which I have never done). Or is my mental NP location totally off kilter?

One has to drive there and get back. If I do it all tomorrow, it will be six hours of solid driving. I can't imagine my passengers fancying a jolly down the pier after their journey.

The Stobart thing puts it in my mind now. I've seen it on TV.

I can think of at least 10 nearer and more important airports to us, only one of which (the very important one) relies on using the M25.

By goodness did it rain last night, it sounded like cars were driving through a flood on our road during the night....I decided I wasn't going to have a look see though but it sounded deep.

I've been ultra organised this morning, renewed my car tax online and booked the car in for the MOT, now to get the food shopping and do all the other multitude of boring jobs.....hmm, might take the opportunity to browse the forums for a little while as youngest is asleep and Josh is busy editing one of his videos.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

My daughter has very poor spatial awareness. I think if we had stairs like this, she would be able to live upstairs or downstairs but not both.

Mmm how much would they cost?
