I am sure I said I was going to do less of this this year?
Is it the same doctor? He might find nipple tassles an interesting change from the last underwear?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Its not an automatic assumption what ever your age and whether neuro typical or otherwise.
We might have tried to negotiate some loan from school or friend on the basis of having forgotten it and having good record, but I am guessing that might be a neuro typical view of the options available. In any case, we both thought we would have gone without too, and got on with the day.
During exam time that's a really silly tactic though. It really wouldn't have been hard for a school to see where he was timetabled to be and deliver it to him, where as he cannot have known, no kid could have, that his card might have been there.
With youngest, it is well known (and in his statement), that he needs food regularly as he has a stuttering pancreas (as the doctor explained it, sometimes it produces insulin, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it provides too much insulin but not enough of either for medication or diet, just regular mealtimes and testing of blood sugars). If he goes without, he either gets very angry or he falls asleep and is exhausted ....yesterday was a falling asleep time thank goodness.
He's been like it since he was around 2 and ever since, we have been waiting for it to stop altogether...just like his father. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

TMI alert...
I went for a slightly overdue routine smear test about 10 days ago. Afterwards, when driving to work I was mildly horrified to remember that I hadn't epilated my legs for almost a month:o

Love that view but I couldn't live there...I would be forever in a panic about flooding!
Flooding and fire are my great OCD issues, I could live on the sea front but only if the property was higher than a Tsunami could reach. We made it! Nope, another new one.
Here's an interesting thing.
Any physician I see asks how old I am then says ' oh I don't need to check your breasts then'.
Well, for a start, its not ego boosting that people can no longer wait for any excuse to grab the things, but also......you'd think if they thought it might be a possibility they'd have grope regard less of age?
( fwiw I check my breasts regularly, but, you know......I just think that's odd.
So, unless I wore a pounce, Demi cup or quarter cup bras or something sheer, nipple tassels would be a bit of a wasted outing.
I have considered marking up areas that trouble me with arrows. :rotfl: save time and effort.
Edit, pounce should have been plunge.0 -
Seeing as I've been away for a couple of a days, just been to say hi to my plants... One of the Courgette seeds I planted a few weeks ago has sprouted :j0

Absolutely!Exciting stuff lemonjelly! Nearly there

My grass cuttings will go into the composters, which I sorted this weekend. Way to go jelly, pick mega hot time to do exhertion like work! :doh:PasturesNew wrote: »My solicitor's not even got all the covenant/title bits and bobs to invite me to the first meeting to go over them! If I complete, it'll be sometime around Xmas 2017 I think
There's a local auction house that's supposed to be really good ... so it's definitely "the best" in the county (if you read their website etc), so I popped in as it's viewing day .... what a bizarre and random collection of old tat. Nothing there worth having - I'd entertained ideas that it might be good for a few house essentials; it's not got anything I'd ever give house room to! Really shabby, dirty stuff - looks like the bailiffs turfed out squatters to be honest. And, let's bear in mind that's not me being snobby; I've rarely had anything new in my life - and always bought cheapest, with nothing matching ... srsly, this stuff was DIRE!
I also bought a small handbrush and "plastic garden tub" so I am ready to sort out the garden etc - and that's where the grass cuttings will go so I can take them to the tip
I'm guessing that solicitor is looking for exchange & completion same day, next wednesday is the earliest possible, as 1 weeks notice needed for the mortgage funds. Will transfer deposit tomorrow or thursday I guess. Easier for me to get the time off next week (no students...)chewmylegoff wrote: »Exchanged on Friday - completion date is 9th June. Love it!Until told otherwise, I am calling the baby Nudge.
Looks like it'll be a midweek move, but that's better for me. Try & get it all done in time for the bowls match saturday!Doozergirl wrote: »LJ, that's brilliant! I have just moved meeting a friend from next weekend to this weekend if you want some help, or someone to watch you and drink wine
. I'm quite good at putting things in alphabetical order. Not as practised as viva, perhaps, but acceptable!
Currently trying to get hold of a mate who is visiting midweek to get him to bring his strimmer. Grass needs a trim!
Thanks for the update. To be fair, I've had it pretty easy I reckon. The support of nice people has made it a relative walk in the park!Doozergirl's just asked that. This is what I told her:
Awww thanks - both to you and to lir for the original comment.
Yay! Exciting. Hope it all goes smoothly from here on.

Planted lettuce seeds last weekend as I got fed up of delaying doing them. 2 trays now, so I can take them up & plant extras shortly. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Whilst I was 'there' I decided I might a well ...
I did that too in similar circumstances. It's nice to know everything's definitely OK rather than only probably OK.

If they are anything like teachers then it has been hammered into them that they must not under any circumstances touch the things unless they will, if necessary, be able to produce legitimate medical reasons for doing so. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
