Mr Bugs always liked independent women. Last time I had a flat tyre outside of the house, his idea of helping was bringing the trolley jack down from the garage for me......;)0

I'm with Mr Bugs in that case.
Actually I am Gentleman enough that I'll change the wheel but I want Mrs Generali to be able to do so. That can be important in a country where a wrong turn can take you onto a road that has a car an hour or a car a day or even a car a year.0 -
Er what Gen and PN say.
Kind of horse stable bolt moment, but never put a recon engine in unless you plan to get rid of it. Occasionally a recon works, but not often IME, of which I have too much;). If the conrod's gone through the block then yes, kind of back to square one. Sorry.:(
I did tell him to get rid. The repair is under warranty from the garage, but it was expensive getting it on a low loader back to London and I'm the one inconvenienced.
He says it's definitely going now. He really needs a van for this job but he liked his truck. Shame he didn't look after it... The third engine he has killed. The only one he didn't was a Peugeot 206. He had that for eight years and sold it, still working. Killed the Astra estate that replaced within eighteen months.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Mrs Generali got dumped by a boyfriend as a teen for changing her own tyre! Apparently she should have called him out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
I dated a man that didn't like me drinking pints. The he accused me of flirting with his mate. That was a very short relationship.
I rarely drink pints and am not flirtatious, I don't think.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I had lots of choice.... I just always go for the easy option (and the spagbol needed using up).
Breakfast alternatives could have been one of these, or combinations thereof:
1] Weetabix/milk/sugar (15p)
2] Sausages, eggs, beans or tinned tomatoes, toast (75p)
3] Boiled egg and soldiers (14p)
4] Hot baguette containing sausage, egg, brown sauce (60p)

Indeed.
It is amazing how remote you can get very quickly from reasonably decent sized towns once you get away from the SE coast. I once took a wrong turn out of a pub that was about 5 hours from Sydney. 6 hours later we arrived at the next place to stay having, completely luckily, gone via the only petrol station that was open for 100kms at night.
The following day we drove the remaining 4 hours back to Sydney.
That was an adventure.0
