    Well done NDB. :T

lir, the doctor is treating you because you are ill. It's OK to be too ill to manage what you are being asked to do! I am sure he will understand when fir explains.

    Please be gentle on yourself.

    Hugs.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Considering that this festival is meant to commemorate the Israelites leaving Egypt in a rush (so rushed they didn't have time for the bread to rise - so no bread products on the menu), how come it is taking me all day in the kitchen to prepare???

It's interesting how religious festivals have changed over time. It's like Christ's resurrection transforming into Easter eggs. I am rather fond of them though. There's something special about egg-shaped chocolate:o.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    I'm not a fan really.

The other thing that leaves me cold are the big slabs popular ATM. I'd rather have an egg than a slab. I think both are beautiful looking, don't get me wrong...some of the slabs lo
Ok stunning and the flavour combinations sound delicious but I think the chocolate would just be too much. Slabs in the thickness of egg might do it for me I suppose.

Easter eggs, slabs, any chocolate really, not my idea of fun.

OH scoffed large quantities of kebabs and rice and salad (not the shop kind, PN, sorry. Chunks of lamb marinated in olive oil with paprika, garlic, rosemary and cumin, then put on skewers with red onion and peppers).

He had a long bath, and said he felt fine, a bit tired, but nothing major (!)

He and Isaac have now left for Heathrow, as they're catching the night flight to Tel Aviv for Passover tomorrow night.

Good luck with your prep, silver.

He must be made of ruddy stern stuff NDG! Nothing major :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you enjoy this run up now for some nesting. Do you have everything ready that you need to be ready?

Pretty much. Hospital bag mostly packed, apart from stuff like tooth and hair brushes. Baby bag packed.

My Mama's coming to stay for two nights from tomorrow, then I'm going to Kent. She's bringing the baby clothes and moses basket that got stashed at my parents' place, and she's washed and ironed everything she says. WHich is the last time any of it will get ironed for quite a while....

We have nappies, wipes, everything like that ready. A bit of de-cluttering could benefit us all, though.

I think he was showing off a bit, though, he definitely walked slowly up the stairs in the flat, and he usually bounces!

OH has just gone out for a walk down to the shore before he has his next beer. He cooked lovely minted lamb fillet for tea, with brocolli, peas, roast spuds (they were really crisp and yummy! :j ) and gravy and mint sauce using fresh mint.

Looks as if clouds coming in from the West, so we may miss seeing the ISS tonight.

We think we have a robin nesting on the ground towards the back of the patio, will be warning DD2 to keep the GrandTwins away from just around there as they will be here over Easter we think. There's swings in the field, so hopefully they'll be more interested in those than the boring patio. ;)

S'ok, I know where they end up (-:

I'm going to bed fairly soon, I'm tired. Watching marathons on the computer is surprisingly hard work (as I won't say to OH).

I'm so glad to know you have your Mama as support. LOL at the ironing! :rotfl:

Hope you have a good night's sleep.
