Yes the driveway needs doing was thinking talk wall down and make front a bigger driveway to get more parking off street.
Also not sure about a shed study, would be freezing in winter...0 -
You reckon 30 grand ish could put a nice extension on this somehow?0

If there is an attic convert it into the playroom. Then have the 3rd bedroom as a study?0

Stick a log burner in it - perfect!0 -
It has a garden shed!
Study with garden view.
No shower in the one bathroom which is large
For me it would be a large extension at the side and down the back single storey but that costs
The details say the bathroom has a separate shower - I think it's out of shot in the photo (to the right hand side).0 -
Nice property. Not sure it's one I would try and extend though.0

I'd look for somewhere else which actually meets your needs. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

That's the problem around this area there isn't that much but this is in a great area exactly where we want to be but it needs to be made bigger to suit our needs, the extra rooms would add value and due to the good school these houses only ever go up in value and provide a nice upbringing for our little girl and she would be going to one of the best schools in the North East.
I may ask to have a viewing and maybe take a builder with me for ideas and costs.0 -
The workshop area behind the garage looks like it could be converted to a study quite easily - it has power and hot an cold water so some sort of heating must be possible. I wouldn't take the front wall down (it's too pretty) just maybe dig the front garden up to create a turning area which looks like it would be big enough for three or four cars with the bit down the side of the house towards the garage.
You might be able to chop the bathroom in two and make an en suite shower room for bedroom 2 but it might not quite be big enough. A rear extension also looks possible but it's a nice house as it is and what a fabulous garden and particularly greenhouse.0 -
I know the land out the back is superb and the location doesn't get any better for our purposes, it really does need extending for us to be able to live there and see our daughter through school for the next 15 years.
It's got me thinking I get home soon think I will have a look0
