It is worth ten ten thousand poundses Floridaman.
As a renter I skulked from my home to the office and back again. As an owner I walk with my head high. When I enter a cafe, shop or restaurant now, whereas before the staff used to treat me with disdain and place me in the worst area were I lucky enough to receive service at all; now as a homeowner I am treated with dignity and distinction. In fact I demand, and will tolerate no less.
I have a spring in my step which exactly correlates to my property's Zoopla valuation that morning. I do occasionally still wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night shouting:
"I wants it my precious!" But I was a member of the forum hpc.co.uk for a long time, and still technically have a login.
Its all on the up and up when you sign on that dotted line. I hope we can welcome you aboard.0 -
And I thought things were supposed to be bad now back in the 70s I can remember the estate getting out of his seat and showing me the door when I told him how much I could afford.0

Well fingers crossed it will go through.0

If it doesn't, just make it up and say that they did. It's only the internet and we're used to you living in fantasy land on here.floridaman wrote: »Well fingers crossed it will go through.0 -

That's a plan. :T
Not a very good one, but at least it's a plan.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

You should use a plan that a former crasher used (Geneer). After reviewing the period 2006 to 2013, he decided that the bottom of the market was in 2009 and he went and bought a house back in 2009.
He informed the forum in 2013 to universal hilarity and queries about worm holes, quantum physics and TARDIS time travel. He left the forum shortly after in humiliation and disgrace, never to be seen again.
We see everything in here so a random bloke talking about offering £110k on a £160k house is small beans,. I assume you'll be informing us that you eventually bought the £160k house for £130k and then had it valued for £180k by the mortgage company.
Par for the course for the crashers when they eventually give up and buy. They always buy under 'market average' and have instant equity, despite spending years telling us that a house is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and that if you buy for £200k, then it's worth £200k regardless of whatever it was marketed for.
Still, it's good for a laugh and keeps us entertained.0 -
Well?? What Happened?I don't have to run faster than the bear.....I just need to run faster than you!0

Hold on.
It's not THAT easy to make stuff up !!!
Give him some time, imagination is not his strong point 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Thanks for support guys.
So....Seamour the EA rang me back after my 2nd offer and said rejected. Before I had a chance to say anything he said that the sellers won't take anything under 160k so not to waste their time.
I am going to think things over the weekend and maybe see if something else comes up0
