I've met zealous buyers like you in my time, they expect sellers to discount yet when they one day come to sell they won't drop a penny.0 -

You should use a plan that a former crasher used (Geneer). After reviewing the period 2006 to 2013, he decided that the bottom of the market was in 2009 and he went and bought a house back in 2009.
He informed the forum in 2013 to universal hilarity and queries about worm holes, quantum physics and TARDIS time travel. He left the forum shortly after in humiliation and disgrace, never to be seen again.
We see everything in here so a random bloke talking about offering £110k on a £160k house is small beans,. I assume you'll be informing us that you eventually bought the £160k house for £130k and then had it valued for £180k by the mortgage company.
Par for the course for the crashers when they eventually give up and buy. They always buy under 'market average' and have instant equity, despite spending years telling us that a house is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and that if you buy for £200k, then it's worth £200k regardless of whatever it was marketed for.
Still, it's good for a laugh and keeps us entertained.0 -

Or fluoride man?
During the last slump there was someone on here who said they were offering a very ambitious percentage below asking price on every three bed house in town. Wonder if anyone accepted?Been away for a while.0 -
